Accessing Twitter content

Are there any viable options left for accessing Twitter content without account anymore? I can't do that since Musk autistic rage, year or so ago - I can load it but it keep messing dates, showing me, for example, posts from 2021 or 2022 mixed with 2024. I used to use Nitter instead but first it started to employ aggressive "anti-bot" measures and "browser verification" each page load and now it only shows "instance rate limited" and all other instances are either offline or show same message. I really don't want to make Twitter account as Musk is doing more and more moronic moves each time, like planning to make obligatory yearly "small" payments for everyone (which is clearly just thinly veiled attempt to grab credit/devit card data).

It's really annoying as many, mostly Japanese, artists still insist on uploading everything on Twitter instead of more comfortable platform like Pixiv. Are there any options left for me?

You might as well use twitter directly if you are going to make an account for it

There are three additional middle mans between you and the content. The slav, the proxy he pays for to get access to twitter at all, and whatever shitty service he uses to get the money in roupees. Are you sure you want to proceed? y/n

It's a fricking throwaway account being used for a privacy proxy. If you're that schizo, pay with crypto

So, you're still using a russian idiot, who's currently a 3rd worlder of the net incapable of accessing a host of corporate bullcrap because pure russian ips are blocked first by isp, then by the server, and separately the piece of shit can't pay directly. By using russian hackeers troons you implicitly agree that your agent's going to jump through a ton of hoops to solve your task. That's just additional bullshit no one else needs.
Pay someone else. A polyack is a good choice I guess.

        - No ads
        - No prostitutes
        - No trending/AI algorithm feed
        - No javascript
        - No spyware
        - RSS feeds

The effort you'd put in to get around "Musk's autistic rage" is a lot more than just making a throwaway email and regging from that. Buy a burner SIM, reg, then throw it away. Ask around for group logins from your favorite *hat communities and if you're not an insufferable gay you'll get one. There's loads of ways to get free Twitter for just passive viewing. If you want to spam Twitter with your newsletter, then you'll have to pay I guess. My workplace has a group Twitter for outreach and I just look at stuff on that.

He was probably referring to how Twitter disabled the creation of new guest tokens. This was noticed back in January, and since tokens lasted for 30 days, we knew all instances that used those were going to die soon. They all already stopped working last week.
He's still right though. All Nitter instances that still work use actual accounts and they're getting lots of traffic because there are every few working instances now. Accounts with too much traffic get blocked, so people hosting those instances need to keep making accounts. It's literally unsustainable and even if Musk does nothing, most probably the instances will start dying as the people running them give up.

elon needs to pump accounts created up to get ad money so making it harder to view tweets without an account

Musk won't get any money from ads in my case anyway as I block them via extensions...

Overall it's sad to hear that another useful tool is dying or already dead. Why we can't have nice things?

It's not about money from your ad views, it's money he can get from ad-fraud by telling advertisers we have "X many eyeballs viewing your content", ignoring the fact that many of them aren't real human beings and he knows that but deliberately won't say.

If more eyeballs will view ads (even if they're fake eye-balls that filter out the ads) then he can charge more.

On some of the unavailabled, you still can browse through accounts, but not specific tweets.
Also, there is the add-on "old twitter" that makes the site more light weight with less trackers

yeah, a very simple one: have a fricking self-respect and stop using it. also discourage others from using it, so people would be encouraged to move to a different platform.

Except that said artists won't upload elsewhere and won't listen to some random guy from internet that can't even reach them because in general populace emails are "soooo 2000s" and everyone uses social media for contact.

I'm not in strong position here. I can only lose, they can only gain.

They don't even hear my voice for frick sake. You think they would care for me or few other guys refusing to use Twitter? No, they just use it for whatever reasons I don't understand. Holy shit, is that hard to understand?

It's the same shit as with social media - I can't have FB/IG because it auto-bans proton mail but it doesn't mean I gain something from it, quite the opposite. I can't show people my photography because everyone expect IG and think that lacking one is suspicious, I can't find people to play tabletop because everyone use FB to hang up and so on. Now I lose access to Twitter and thus can't watch new art from various creators. This is not a fight I can win - I lose by default. Whats the alternative? Dying alone in some isolated internet hole? Get real.

No, all loopholes are going to be closed. You can either give them your info or stop using twitter. Those are the options. They're insane about this.
They don't even let you use an alternative browser, I have to spoof my browser to firefox to just see the login page even or it says browser not supported. It's a tyrannical site and you should stay away.

He just wants control, that's all. He wants everything on the internet to be replaced by his super app and for you to log into it.

But that's impossible to achieve. You cannot consolidate whole internet into single, monstrous and bloated application. Is he really that dumb?

            >Is he really that dumb?
It seems to work in China, which is where he got the idea, most people do everything in a super app, and that's why he's saying some previous service is dead as he introduces a new thing, phones are dead, credit cards, etc. according to him.

Except that China is specific case of actual hive mind and acceptance towards government actions unheard everywhere else. He wants to use same schematic that simply won't work in any other country but the one he take inspiration from. That's higher level of stupidity.
