team red can't stop taking Ls hahaha
also you check the gpu market once every couple years when you upgrade, obsessing over gamer hardware is so dumb

Why are you shitting on a GPU that easily costs less than half the price for a 0.16FPS/W difference?
I'm not even defending AMD at this point but in which universe is this an Nvidia win?

not him but electricity is kinda expensive where I live
for how long I keep hardware, power savings can easily make up the extra cost. it's not applicable to most people though, but I'm glad they did this benchmark because its the kind of metric I've always wanted

As per OP's image the 7800 XT uses 242W while the RTX 4070 TI uses 243W. That's a 1W difference. Again, the question remains, 1W difference isn't going to be that much of a difference in electricity expenditure, so let's say they both spend exactly the same. There's still the over 550€ price difference between the two and you're not getting a 16GB after that as per the image I posted.
Still not seeing this as an Nvidia win by any metric discussed here on this thread.

40 watt difference in electricity wont save you from 500 dollar difference.

If we assume 30 cents per kwh, 4 hours every day of gaming session, thats only $17 bucks. You need to run keep the GPU for 30 years to offset the electricity cost, even then it would only reach parity

in what world would you judge dlss and fsr in the same category especially with a 1440p display it doesn't matter what number amd hits it'd look so bad to the point that it's unplayable

cherry picked result from an amd sponsored game that peforms the same as nvidia when both are using FSR (still looks terrible at 4k just not as bad as 1440p given the extra detail). you break even in 1 very specific scenario, congratulations. even still a 4090 tops the charts lol. is it worth the terrible drivers and lack of features just so you can sometimes maybe sort of compete with nvidia?
