Man don't pay $14 for chow mein. The recipe for it is ridiculously easy. Try a few until you find the chinese restaurant recipe.

I just made this with some leftover chicken and it was pretty fricking good. learned a new trick with the immersion blender. spoonfeed me more recipes. also anons BUY MEAT, for the cost of a restaurant meal you can get slabs of high quality meat that you can use in anything. your pantry should be full of dry/canned goods that never expire and your fridge should be rotating in fresh meat and vegetables to cook with your pantry stuff

        add some msg

You don't need MSG for chinese food, onions sauce has enough glutamates in it. You just have to follow a decent recipe and use the right ingredients, not western substitutes.

        Check out this website.
They run a chinese restaurant, and they put the same recipes they use in their restaurant on the website.
I've made several of them at home, and they taste almost exactly the same as Chinese takeout.
The only difference is that the quality of the meat tastes better, and the oil is fresher.
The only caveat is that for a lot of the recipes, you are going to need to go to an asian or international grocery store.
It's mildly awkward, because the ones I went to don't speak english.
So you just have to wander around until you find what you are looking for.

        More salt
        More butter
        More oil
That's the only reason restaurant food tastes "better". They add more than you would.

Two options here, and I urge you to consider both:
        >stop buying and consuming slop
        >start shoplifting
You could buy an entire chicken for the price of two of those frozen meals. You can't shoplift a bag of chips, which is good since you shouldn't be eating them anyway, but a nice tenderloin will easily fit in your pocket.

    >Whining about inflation.

The state of the American economy, everyone. Otherwise known as the comeback economy everyone scapegoated. The more they b***h, the more they buy.

    Jobs are literally everywhere.
    Home sales, never higher.
Travel, electronics, fast food, and frivolous expenses to the moon!

The "cost of living" meme is literally a Republican psy-op to attack Biden. If you want to see a real shitty economy look at 2009 when laid off normies went without rock bottom fast food meals.

    >$14 plus tip
That's it? I spend $30-$40 per meal, and another $40 or so for my wife and kid, twice a day. And that's not eating out fancy, just a regular meal.
    >What happens when nobody can pay their bills anymore?
Yeah I hear that a lot online but I feel like you people assume everyone is as poor as you, maybe as a way to not try harder or something, or you just haven't accepted that you are part of the class that will struggle to pay for $14 meals.

My sincere advice would be to focus on increasing your income rather than lowering your expenses.
