wouldn't matter if apple released 100 different variations of ipad last year. people are moving away from using garbage apple products that cost significantly more than their competitors.

You aren't factoring their old phones that make more sense than the barely upgraded new ones. That and a wider variety of affordable AND usable Androids have flooded the markets.

situation of various economies hasn't helped, and apple refuses to reduce prices on goods that already have a massive markup over what it cost to manufacture. apple would sell far more devices if they stopped trying to rape people's wallets and bank accounts, trying to insist they're a fashion brand instead of an electronics manufacturer.

NTA but for me it's not that any individual product of theirs is expensive, it's that they punish you for only owning one of their products. For any Apple device there's always important features that only work properly if you also have some other Apple device alongside it.

Customers who mix and match, like a guy using an Android phone but an Apple laptop, are apparently anathema to them. They'd rather get $0 from that guy than have him only switch _some_ of his devices over. They want all or nothing, therefore I choose nothing.
