a lot of YEC were so hesitant to accept dinosaurs had feathers but it lends some small bit of validity to
      >dragons = "lizards with wings" = dinosaurs.

who are strawmanning? The plumed serpent is mentioned in many mythologies like Quetzalcoatl being the biggest. The push to normalize, or "reintroduce" the image of feathered serpents makes perfect sense if you realize what these people worship.

Whenever I see someone bring up imagery in movies outside of symbolism I just don't take them seriously. Especially if they seem like they've let their entire perspective be molded from movies they watched a kid, especially Hollywood.

That's because they think feathered dinosaurs were faked by the Chinese government in order to emasculate American boys. Standard IQfy schizo shit.

The Bible is full of allegory and context that a modern reader lacks. No priest or scholar worth a damn would tell you to take it face value

The Ark is supposed to have been a massive 3-story high box with a skylight on top. It's dimensions and shape are based off of the Ark and the Tabernacle (two mythological buildings important in Judaism). It's not supposed to have been an actual seaworthy vessel (it wouldn't be due to its shape and construction), but rather is a spiritual metaphor for the sacrality of supposed First Temple and thus the legitimacy and authority of the Post-Exilic israeli elite (the First Temple obviously never existed, hence why the myth was invented). We know that it didn't have a bow or keel or a little roofed building on top because it's a big metaphor for the First Temple and was made in such a manner as to presage the Tmeple, and the Temple was a big box (israeli literature after the 600s confirms this)

There's very few Biblically accurate depictions of the Ark because it's just patently absurd if you see it for what it is. Pic related is the closest that google brings up, but even then it doesn't accurately divide the floors (all three of which were the same height).
