The reason they're able to do what they do is because they didn't spend their whole lives being basement nerd virgins bragging that the know how to use better file storage systems to store their anime hentai games to other low-function antisocial aspies.

when i worked at pfricker (temp), all the office plants started dying. billion dollar campus with miles of hallways with empty pots or yellowed plants. i thought it was some chemical leak. then i saw a plant that was healthy and i mentioned it to my boss, whats with the plants? apparently the facilities staff had a union and wanted health insurance for part timers so pfricker fired them all. a few of the scientists used their spare time to water the office plants with beakers but most were just left to rot. took like a month before a new facilities company was brought in and shit started to get cleaned up. realized pretty quick to avoid pharma products at all costs

In defense of normies consumer computing is an incredible disaster currently. If you don't know how to use Linux you probably just shouldn't touch computers.

      What to do then?
How to post data anonymously and privately?
Are there any still free journalist that would post genuine articles about "them"?

Centralized journalism is a bit like centralized cloud storage. The only effective option is alternative providers but you lose out on things like network effects.

If you don't obfuscate your files by wrapping them in a encrypted format before you upload them you are a fool.

The very last place I would put files related to whistleblowing would be a centralized government funded platform. More likely distribute the files to dozens of mini servers meant for gaming using Tor under different account names and paying cash where accepted. Yes some server providers accept cash. Usually shady 4th tier resellers but those are perfect for whistleblowing.

If 1 is taken down, publish 2. If 2 are taken down, public 4 servers. If 4 are taken down, publish 8 servers and so on. This can all be automated.
