Imo yeah, the 4070 Super has the most performance difference vs regular compare to Ti and 4080. If we hold off on it for a bit, the price might comes down to $550.

Can you return it? If it's Amazon, just tell them its bad.

Both are cucked by 12GB of VRAM anyway, so who cares? An extra 20% performance isn't going to transform your experience - especially when you're stuttering like crazy as you run out of VRAM. Just turn shadows down to medium and bam, you now own a 4070 Super.

You're the sole reason NVDA is up 37% in the past month... just be happy with the 4070... I bet you only use it to shitpost frogs anyways.

Just buy a gamer PC at Bestbuy. Look inside the cases. You will see an RTX inside.

Instead of wasting a 4-digit amount for one graphics card, just buy a whole PC for the same price.

Do not online shop btw. There's scalpers everywhere.

Did your screen resolution change from 1080p? No? Then it will work exactly the same.

As long as Palworld runs fluid it wouldn't matter to me. Some monsters or areas cause a drop even on 30xx series. Reviews say even the crappy 4060 handles the game just fine even at 4K.

You let the marketing get to you if you think buying a 4090 isn't a frickup too.

This card often retails for $440, I've already gotten two at Best Buy. Don't tell me you paid more than that?

4090 owner here, you wanna know it's best feature? It's still worth what I paid for it 15 months later. This card isn't future proof for shit.

I camped out online on launch hour to grab a 4090 — by far the wisest PC buying move I’ve made in a decade.

Nvidia sent me a lil notification in GeForce now with a link for a founders 4090 on Best Buy when it launched. I would like to feel the same way, and perhaps in pure raster this is another 1080ti moment but for double the money, but I have never felt good about having a $1700 brick in my desktop and I can still find ways to make it chug, obviously don't need to, it hits 4K165 in so so many games. I don't know what it is. I'm a 4K hi refresh gay, and I have a penchant for costly tech, so this isn't anything new and I really shouldn't feel bad but there's just something about it where my brains won't drop the poor value issue.

It’s a hideous value of course. But there’s literally no other option if you want high-refresh 4k gaming. If a 4090 or frick you turn down your settings.

Not if you only play games from the 90s and early 00s.

The Ti Super starts at $800, a full 30% more than you should have paid for your 4070. Did you actually pay over MSRP for a 4070? Don't feel bad anon, it's still quite decent. Just not good value.

I just checked and you're right. it isn't cheaper, but the difference is really minor. I paid $1062 for 4070 TI 12GB almost a year ago. I see 16GB listed at $1147 now. all that includes tax (VAT).

I guess it depends on when you did but not really. If you just got the 4070 recently, yeah. If you had it for awhile, nah. It's not that big of a difference either way.

Mine struggled with 120hz VR, and the pump burned out. I would still be using it if it was air cooled. At 70% usage of my 4090 with the settings turned way up.
