and their makefiles are fricking moronic, no wonder people end up hating makefiles and move onto bloated garbage when they could've learned how to use make correctly without being babyducked by worthless courses made by morons who don't program.

low IQ troony, learn to read, for someone who shills worthless books, you sure are bad at reading comprehension

Do you enjoy the read and try, or the try and read approach when it comes to learning?

      Anonymous

      Read and try sounds better.

      1. learn basic syntax
      2. make basic programs
      3. read other people's simple programs
      repeat with increasing difficulty

I thought one of these books would do that to me.

just download gcc, the linux source code, google a reference for stdio, then frick around writing stuff while reading through the linux kernel. I specifically suggest the kernel because its extremely clean and simple. I don't suggest any books because if you're like me you will get sick of that shit before you ever even compile something

      Sounds too hard.

worthless, go read GNU cat code or something, it's an actual useful userland program that gets a specific job done, kernels are just boilerplate for real programming, noone will ever have to care unless they get paid to write irrelevant boilerplate so others don't have to

I know that none of you nocodeshitters ever ran
      make -p

and read already predefined rules that just work, that's why you keep writing broken garbage
You also never read gcc manual, never read make manual and never read c language standard, you're nocodeshitters who can only follow what's written in K&R

        i didnt even read k&r.
didnt need it to learn opencl.
cuda is basically the same tbqfwy

and now that i know opencl
openGL as in glsl and vulkan compute shaders are a breeze to learn.

        this one in particular: https://cplusplus.com/reference/
then start furiously googling when a keyword or concept comes up that you dont understand
yes, thats a c++ reference, but you could stick to just the c part or find another one
this is also c++, but describes keywords too: https://en.cppreference.com/w/c/language/struct

keep seething about the last gcc version being written in C being 4.7 which is older than you, zoomer, let's face it, both C and Rust are like horseshoe, attracting massive amounts of trannies, while C++ won.

            >keep seething about the last gcc version being written in C

Too bad just like yourself, rustrannies are incompetent, they can only larp, just like every shit for brains K&R fan who cannot write a working compiler in his shitty meme language.
And situation will only keep getting worse, as with every new version, C++ is strictly better, while C gets no features and therefore they write half of their code in Python and Rust only gets more irrelevant bloat to cope with previous bloat not being bloated enough.

Yet again, you proofen yourself a foul

Developing a program is not only to find „a solution“. Its also the balance between efficiency and maintainability. Whereas in the latter your code need to be understood by others.

If you go in with your mindest, that you are one of the chosen few, you failed right from the start.

It is very important to sync your ideas and solutions with others. May you have something novell, may it be common, or just some brainfart.

Yet again, learning is a balance between online resources and practical experience.

Obviously you will complain that they weren‘t to your standard by default.
