you understand 0days won't be fixed (not even reported, as there is no monetary incentive). the code has been leaked but legitimate organizations are not allowed to use it; attackers on the other hand don't care because they are already breaking the law

this is going to be just like my netorare mangas but with computers

      It's Linux morons

Nor created. There's zero incentive to exploit XP machines anymore.

Devuan is worth it from someone used to debian? I don't care much about systemgay but I'm more interested if devuan packages are well maintained

I used Devuan before trying Debian. Things "just work" more on Debian.

kinda expected, but how bad is it coming from Debian Stable? and how close are releases from Debian to Devuan?

I haven't ran both side-by-side, but Devuan seemed to stay reasonably up-to-date and had a comparable number of packages. The biggest difference to me personally is my YubiKey actually working on Debian, which I suspect is because of systemd.

I know this is a Linux thread, but Windows XP actually does get a decent amount of third party support. There's One Core API, which is getting more stable by the week, and Supermium just got a working XP port.

it's a copy and paste of WINE's code maintained by a Brazilian who is incapable of speaking English, not a good look

Its not just Wine's code. There's a lot of ReactOS code and DLLs taken from modern Windows as well. Plus it takes a a lot of work to actually port that stuff. Windows and Linux are fundamentally different operating systems.
