Did God make the Bible Contradict Itself on Purpose?

Was the Bible made as some sort of weird test where God tests you on how you interpret it so God put bunches of contradictions there?

The Bible wasn't written as one straight narrative, unlike the Qu-ran supposedly was written. It's a complilation of texts gathered throughout a long time span, which had cultural and religious relevance in that geographic area. The contradictions are a product of multiple writers as well as the numerous translations throughout the last 2000 years or so.

So why do Christians get so upset when people pick and choose the parts they like
If something contradicts itself you should pick and choose what you believe.

        >why do Christians

So you asked a series of stupid questions and people called you an idiot for asking them, but you've found a thin justification for asking questions--which for you means a license to ask aggressively stupid questions in a highly literal way--and you are confused that people respond irritably to children who ask them annoyingly stupid questions that have been answered for millennia.

Huh? I've been repeatedly told that it's the absolute perfect word of the Almighty creator of the universe, every single word.

no, that's the quran [allegedly the word of allah but actually the words of a moron]
the Bible can have, and actually has mistakes caused by humans.
The Bible is infallible [in dogma and wisdom] but it is not inerrant [in grammatical or numerical mistakes for example].

        God inspired multiple authors, ez.

Contradictions are inspired. They're part of the hidden code within the text.

It doesn't say He was "tired" but it does say God was "refreshed" which is interesting.

"He will not grow tired or weary,"
Doesn't say he doesn't rest either.

God does not get tired but He does rest which does refresh Him somehow.

The word translated rest just means ceased

I mean, isn't that actually an argument for it?
If it was made up it wouldn't be so consistent, would it?
But then you would just move the goal post and say they meticulously knew everything about the previous written records.

No, it's just a mesh of israeli myths and the authors couldn't keep the story straight

I'm sorry but scholars have debunked this numerous times. The translations are utterly wrong. Nice try though, fedora.
