how about you stop tinkering and do real work on your machine. the default explorer.exe is literally good enough

      >Only $89 AUD
      WOW. What a steal!

Directory Opus is infact the best in its class.
The problem is, all other programs are good enough and also free.

Thats why not many people will buy it. Because there is no need for a directory opus.
How many people drive to the convenience store with a sports car? Not many.

I am on 12 myself. It is worth the money and one of the first few programs I install on a new system.

This is worse. Daemon Tools is $108 for a 1 year license. Money laundry most likely. Or some tactic to maximize profit on Humble Bundle.

Isn't that the program people used to mount ISOs? They're probably making a killing with boomer sysadmins.

only windows-only software where I don't feel like there's a good enough linux equivalent... but that's not enough to keep me on the giant piece of shit that is windows.

I don't understand why microsoft never bought them out
I don't understand how 99% of windows users are content with the vanilla file manager, which didn't even have tabs until a couple years ago

Because they'd need to hire and keep that dev very happy if they want to keep maintaining it since only knows the code.
They could have bought that app.get package manager, instead they invited the dev to come over, extracted information, then implemented their own thing. Also MS mainly needs to keep their big contractors happy and they're cautious at that

for Linux there's no software even close to DOpus

free software in every category is inferior than paid alternatives (guess why)

are you using it vanilla or heavily customized? what customization have you made?

DOpus started in Amiga computers in 1990 or something, did you know this? It wasnt always for Windows.

When Amiga died the programmer contemplated for a moment if he should jump into MAC or into WIN

I prefer XYplorer. Specifically the free version you have to dig around in the official site to download.

        Well it's free.
I've never felt like bothering enough to try pirating Opus.

the biggest thing is these guys (same with xyplorer) are awful at marketing what these can actually do
