Disabling processes in windows for <greater> PRIVACY

Hi there,
I want to stop windows trying to access its myriad of services (which I can never find out what they do) and literally only have TOR access the internet. Which services can I kill/block, and how do I ID them? I tried blocking everything in Tinywall and it simply resulted in my wifi failing to work (yeah, yeah I know wifi). I've also failed to ID the processes in Tinywall, TCPView, and process manager. There's tons of shit that just automatically wants to connect to Azure servers and the like. How do I stop these from connecting and only allow TOR whilst keeping wifi connectivity (my PC is heavy and carrying it to the ethernet would be time consuming and shit)? Do I need to block ports in my router or something?
Put simply: what process do I need to allow (preferably in tinywall) to retain wifi access, but ensure nothing else can connect to the internet (sans TOR), and how do I identify them? Or do I have to, I don't know, run Tails or something?
PS:Holy shit I hate Microsoft so much its unreal. It's like this company hates the idea of you controlling your software and its connectivity.
Anyway, help would be very much appreciated, and frick Micro$oft.

I will. In fact I'll install fricking Kali and learn it because God gave me a mind and WILL FRICKING USE IT.
In the meantime an answer would be swell.

Well, that wasn't just a meme, installing gentoo is the only answer you have. Or rather Whonix, which is intended to be used with Tor. Running Tor on Windows for anything else than trying it out is a retarted thing to do in itself, regardless of your threat model and the crutches you put in place.

Do not use Kali as a daily driver. Use fedora, Ubuntu, arch or gentoo and maybe use tails

Noted. I'm aware it's a penetration testing distro more than anything. I'm not super obsessed about privacy (there are practical limits - notably my own experience and aptitude), but I do want to move away from corporatised ecosystems. I've already fricked Google off, I'm just reticent to make big switches because work requires me to use office suite (among others).
Suppose I'll set up a dual boot. Thanks for the recommendations!

just get a mac, sure it will still have some privacy backdoors but theres no ads, forced updates, and extremely low idle power consumption unlike winblows

Why are you using a backdoored kernel? You always have telemetry enabled at the root level. Install Linux or FreeBSDor you're not serious about privacy you're just wasting everyone's time here with placebo.

Hmm, fair. I mean I suspected as much... suppose I'll have to run Gentoo or another distro.
Cheers anyway, it's pretty much confirmation I should frick windows off. Now it's a pity about AMD PSP being there to give access to all my RAM and buses, but oh well, I'm not exactly a target...
I just hate fricking glowies. TOTAL GLOWIE DEATH.

Mm I would, but internet search engines are so useless I can't find anything that isn't:
      1. Some generic spamdexing website(s) which offer no information.
      2. Sites trying to sell me something (related or no).
      3. A total lack of relevant search results.
Yes I have tried multiple engines that you don't have to pay for (i.e., Kagi).
So why don't you tell me, since you obviously have some ideas?

Windows XP had about 12 processes that should be running. Easy to reason about and deal with.

With Windows 10/11's 100+ it's easier to just switch to Linux.

Just realize those services not working will break windows as a whole and either accept Linux or give up. Windows means it Microsofts computer, not yours. They will allow and disable whatever services they please and modify your config whenever they want. How else would it "just werk"
