Every single update Windowgays complain about it, but take it any. Its like getting raped every 10 days but you also have stockholm syndrome. Couldn't be me. Linux literally has none of these issues.

      >Linux literally has none of these issues
we have way worse issues. stop being glib. linux has gotten 500% worse in the last 3 years alone. over the last decade it's been 10000% decline. i'm drunk and i made those numbers up but they're true and you know it. trannies and corporations ruined linux and freegays can't admit it but you will. try to deny it with corporate sponsor girl wiener (tm) down your throat. that's where linux will be at in 2025 at the current rate. windows is looking better every day.

Asked my company's IT to get me a new laptop with Windows 10, and at home I switched to Arch from Windows 11
Since Windows 7 I've had my taskbar on the right side, and not having that option pissed me off. The Start Menu takes too much space and doesn't even let me resize it to look like the classic menu from Windows 95, which I'm able to do prior to Windows 11
I somewhat agree with this anon though. I like how I can adjust the widths of two side-by-side windows by only moving one bar. And that Power Toys tool where I can define areas on my desktop and make my windows fit them by dragging and pressing right-click is very convenient
On my Arch install I'm using Xfwm/Xfce and I've yet to replicate the same functionality since it's only been a month since I switched OSs

      >>they removed the option to move the taskbar
      No one care
      >>It is stuck at the bottom of the screen taking up the entire width for no fricking reason
      No one care
      >>They even removed a registry hack for moving it

Amazing how someone can be wrong thrice

Ironic how Windows ships with a lot of legacy code, drivers, etc. just to support some very old hardware that "no one cares" about, and here you are with your bullshit

You will never be a real OS. You have no backwards compatibility, you have no modern web plugins, you have no C++. You are a homosexual OS twisted by drugs and surgery into a crude mockery of nature’s perfection.
All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back people mock you. Your parents are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “friends” laugh at your ghoulish appearance behind closed doors.
MacOS and Windows are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution have allowed real OS to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency. Even distros that “pass” look uncanny and unnatural to a man. Your file structure is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a drunk guy to install you, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he gets a whiff of your diseased, infected console.
You will never be happy. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself it’s going to be ok, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight.
Eventually it’ll be too much to bear – you’ll buy a rope, tie a noose, put it around your neck, and plunge into the cold abyss. Your computer will die of CPU overload, broken but relieved that it has no longer have to deal with the unbearable shame and disappointment. They’ll bury you with a headstone marked with your birth name, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know a man is buried there. Your case will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your legacy is a skeleton that unmistakably says "Made for Windows 7".
This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.

“when it comes to actually being able to move the taskbar to different locations on the screen, there are a number of challenges with that.“

And it has suffered a critical bug for 6 months now where all your running programs disappear from the bar. You can still click them but they're all invisible.
But nooo, gotta work on that AI ad advertising instead of fixing that.

based. that will probably make windows much faster, not having to handle all those possible different task bar locations anymore that no one uses. i bet the clock time update will be much more efficient now. microsoft shows how it's done.
