Firefox 126 is out

>Changes:
>The Copy Without Site Tracking option can now remove parameters from nested URLs. It also includes expanded support for blocking over 300 tracking parameters from copied links, including those from major shopping websites. Keep those trackers away when sharing links!

>Telemetry was added to create an aggregate count of searches by category to broadly inform search feature development. These categories are based on 20 high-level content types, such as "sports,” "business," and "travel". This data will not be associated with specific users and will be collected using OHTTP to remove IP addresses as potentially identifying metadata. No profiling will be performed, and no data will be shared with third parties. (read more)

Reminder that Mozilla thinks "deplatforming" isn't enough. They actively want to jail you chuds 🙂

Read that article, what they meant by that was exposing who actually owns the media (Of course they have to cover their ass with a FOX NEWS BAD excuse)

        >Read that article
Sir, you are on IQfy. Here we only read the clickbait headlines and then make up the story behind it that fits our worldview most in our head.

Too many content types, I don't think Firefox has that many users anymore.

what did they mean by this?

They are gonna do data mining and sell your browsing habits.

Firefox with default settings is literally no different from using Chrome or Edge at this point.

This, may as well use the option that works better (anything Chromium-based).

    >Reverted the changes recently shipped in Firefox 125 that more proactively blocked downloads from potentially untrustworthy URLs. The changes caused unexpected problems with downloading files in some situations. We plan to fix and re-enable these protections in a future release. (Bug 1892069)
Have they fixed this yet? Not upgrading past 124.0.2 until they do. Also when they remove the telemetry they just added lol.

That's it. If I can't avoid it I might as well use Opera GX.
