I'm more miffed by sites that open modals up and using the back button (or history pop) doesn't close the modal.

We removed your post because it was offensive. You should think about how your speech impacts the feelings of others.

How my words make you or any other stranger on the internet feel is none of my concern. How the words you read make you feel is your concern. You read some words and decided to act like a little b***h and chose censorship as your path forward. Not only did you choose this path, you did it for free. You are a stain upon humanity. Pure scum.

It's a sensible request and he does it in a way that's based as frick, but it's better to have SO's search engine query saved to your browser to make it easier still, and set a keyword (like 'so') for the search

Is there a company that's been more mismanaged than stackexchange? They have a captive audience of almost every dev out there and they squander it by being as anti-user as possible. Like e-bussy levels of hostility.

that guy is totally right though
I get angered every time I open youtube, want to type to search for something, and then realize the searchbar isn't focused on load and I have to CLICK IT EVERY TIME
how is it so difficult to understand what users want?

yt probably does it on purpose after A/B-testing 1000 different ways of not focusing the search bar, they want you to watch the recommended shit from the frontpage not search for a specific thing and then watch that
