yes goy use less secure protocols because this audited open source chat app whose protocol defines end to end security is insecure, uh, somehow. stop asking questions, just let us see your data already!

I think the idea is that once someone gets pozzed any encryption is useless anyway. It's best to have accounts with the best anonymity.

            >can't, its automatic
            What's wrong with auto-updates?
There is everything wrong with autoupdate, basically you are giving whoever controls the updates full control over your software and data, with autoupdates it is possible to:
            Insert backdoors, spyware and malware.
            Add unnecessary features.
            Remove features.
Target a single user with shit like A/B testing, treating people like guinea pigs.
Make unwanted changes, like the dreaded UI changes.
            Locking down content behind paywalls
Whatever else malicious developers want to do with you.
            >>yes goy, just leave your client outdated and potentially vulnerable
its ran behind hypervisor and compiled with hardened flags, what are you gonna do? come and hack the tcp ip stack
funnily enough that zeroday would be used on other things than hacking your chat, signal rce will be used only on rce... and let me tell you it is not expensive to hack shitty electronjs app

Do we think Snowden is still a fugitive that cannot return to America? If so and he has never said that Signal is compromised I would say that is a good indication that signal is still safe from backdoors.
