a >8GB VRAM load would knock out half of this chart?

The top contenders are buggy trash? Yeah, people pay more for quality, that's generally true everywhere.

$/fps is poor cope. You either have the performance level you need or you don't.

Yes, we already know AyyMD GPUs are for poorgays

Being proud of spending more money for little benefit is such a Black person cope

        >Arc A580
        >5700 XT
You aren't playing games with these cards, you're playing black screen simulator. The 6650 XT is OK.

I don't know about the 5700 XT, but I think the A580 could probably make a good video encoding GPU with its AV1 hardware acceleration support.

It's only of little benefit to you cause you're still playing on some poorgay 1080p monitor. Basically everything about you and your setup is poor, so you could never take advantage of the higher end products. And claiming anything better than the crappy shit you have is "of little benefit" is pure poorgay cope.

        >little benefit
I'll decide what benefit is valuable with my money. This dumb chart doesn't even take into account resolution.

The only GPUs I've ever owned that would blue screen were AMD. Not even close. And I like AMD, I only buy their processors because they're good value to performance. Their GPUs though? Complete trash. They're the Great Value brand of GPUs.

I have owned a variety of GeForces and Radeons starting with the GeForce 2, and the only GPU that died was a GeForce 4, therefore Radeon is better.

They got their shit together around at the Polaris era. I still have my RX580 lying around, I only upgraded to a 7900xt out of luxury, it ran everything I threw at it. Pretty sure this wouldn't have been the case if I had bought a GTX1060 instead.

The driver level features amd offers are great as well. Frame generation in pretty much every game is pretty cool.

Yes, that benchmark is only for gaming. There are many more uses for GPUs now.

Why are AMDrones obsessed with this cope? You are not a scientist who is running a server for mass parallel computation.

nobody buys AMD because AMD software is garbage and has no features whatsoever. you buy nvidia because you get CUDA, optix, DLSS, RT, et cetera

Your chart is missing information like resolution, settings, raytracing, what games were tested, and a free space for the poorgay cope that will inevitably creep in and say "w-well raytracing is a s-scam anyway shut up"

I thought rx580 isn't officially supported anymore. Why is it listed anywhere in current year?

The better question is why even older cards (especially cards from before the crypto boom) aren't listed here with their price adjusted for inflation.

AMD can easily compete the rasterization performance.
    Their hardware is solid.

It's about software and support. There is nothing AMD can do really. They don't have CUDA, DLSS, RTX, VSR, RTX video HDR and other things.

Many rendering pipelines are also specifically made for Nvidia cards and you need to fool around to get AMD work and it's always with lesser performance.

So if you are at all into 3D video/image rendering or any AI, then it's Nvidia. End of story.
If you are strictly into gaming and you don't give frick about VSR, RTX, DLSS etc, then you buy AMD and enjoy superior gaming performance per dollar.
