Americans have no honor, like when they say that it's preferable to kill enemy civilians than risk lives of their soldiers.

America has this awful kind of godless pragmatism in such manners, it's why we use drones nowadays. It can work but it makes you seem shameless and dishonorable.

Are amerimutts godless and shamelessly immoral for using drone strikes? Yes

Would any other country behave much better than amerimutts if they had the same level of power as amerimutts? No

When you conscript your entire population in the defense of your country, they are no longer civilians.

Because America as a nation lacks honor and dignity. Americans hate any hierarchy that isn't predicated on popular will (bullshit) or money. A truly disgusting bunch, millions of innocent people have died because of Americanism.

      >Japanese torture and execute POWs and civilians for no reason
      Much honorabre!
      >Americans hang a few military officers in charge of the war

How long is it going to take for historiography and the public to turn on Macarthur?

Since decades ago. People been thinking of Mcarthur as an overrated moron with oversized ego since Korean war.
His fault though. Had he retired after WW2 he'd probably be known as one of the US most celebrated general.

macarthur just ran propaganda to make people think he was tough and the US govt decided to play along with his psy-op (until truman finally got tired of his shit). he was a glue huffer who got mogged by just about anyone he fought against or fought with, whether it was homma or nimitz or peng dehuai or ridgway.

Honestly still can't believe people accepted the Yamashita standard as legitimate or making any kind of sense. If the allies took this """standard""" seriously, probably half of the commanders in WWII should have been executed.

Eh, it made sense at the time to be very, very thorough when it came to purging Japan's officers. Imperial Japan was built from the ground up by an uppity officer class, and it could have been a risk to leave even the cleanest guys around. And in general, the standard let's tribunals execute guys on dubious grounds for the sake of preventing any attempts at regaining power. Not saying that Yamashita deserved it or that the standard makes any sense from a modern legal standpoint.

Are you serious bro? The Tokyo trials were an absolute clown show. People who should have been executed got off scot free. While others, who did literally nothing, got executed. They were just making shit up as they went along.

And as usual, whenever you bring up the fact that the American "nation" lacks honor, the Amerifat subhuman seethes and brings up a whataboutism.

American post-war punishments are more about disobedience than "crimes" - you are expected to integrate yourself into the empire willingly and with enthusiasm.
