Hope you don't like popping a benzo every once in a while, because they'll sooner lobotomize you than give you one Xanax over there. Russia is VERY anti-drug, and their public healthcare system is still extremely reminiscent of their Soviet era, including outdated equipment and poorly trained medical staff. Russia is definitely not somewhere you want to be if you're poor and even if you're rich it's not like the US where you can buy your way out of anything.

Also it's Russia. It's not until you've done a bit of traveling that you truly realize that the US really is the best country in the world. We have our problems, but we're still number 1. Other countries have some things that are great, like Japan and how clean and safe everything is, but once you've been there long enough you start to realize all the things they get wrong.

in real life i actually make money lmfao.
In 2020/2021 it was probably possible for me to borrow up to 10 million, which obviously i did not do since i anticipated higher rates.
Outside of a 30 year mortgage, fixed, people with debt in the USA are going to get absolutely fricking wrecked by rates going up. They dont understand the way the system works, the Fed can't hold the rates down. It will try to, it's not about what they say; people are right that they want the rates to go down and they will do QE, but it wont work, inflation will push the bond market into the shitter and rates will go up.

By the way the US national debt is 34 trillion, I was trying to make the connection obvious but I guess i should have said "if i borrow 34 trillion dollars to do absolutely frick all and spend all of it on complete bullshit and produce nothing" but i didnt anticipate that you'd think i meant it literally.

Not everybody is fricking broke man. Not everybody is forced to think in $1000 intervals. I don't have to put EVERYTHING into Russia, because it's possible to diversify, but honestly ask yourself if what you're seeing is normal.
People are clearly unwell, the youth are losing their fricking minds. The gap between the way a 35 year old acts and thinks and the way a 20 year old thinks and acts now is a canyon. Something fricking happened when everybody got all this stuff for free and we started to inflate with credit. People are going crazy and I honestly think it's a consequence of disconnecting people from the reality of working = outcome. Things just 'randomly' happen as far as normal people are concerned, and people are gambling more (that's a fact/stat), and people have too much free time and they're becoming fascinated with weird shit, and its a sign. The drugs and the alcohol can happen to even healthy societies, but this is next level. Without the mind, the body, regardless of how healthy, cannot continue. The United States is going literally crazy.

With rising interest rates, this will NOT be like a rising tide that lifts all ships. People don't understand anything, they are literally on a sinking ship it's just taking awhile but the iceberg was already hit.
            >People aren't fricking glorifying lifeboats man. There is no place that will be like the United States from 1880-1930, but those days are done and the post-war dollar is going to get crushed (or depending how you look at it already was the moment the debt was accumulated and spent on fricking nothing).

i've read the same thing, fed follows the market, the market sets the rate, fed is definitely not all powerful.

but can you explain why, and your thought process, for the brainlets in the room

To manipulate the bond market, which is a market similar to any other, with buyers and sellers coming together to trade bonds, the Federal Reserve is able to buy up bonds in order to drive up the price. The reason it would do this is to lower the interest rate in the economy. This operation is an open market operation, which is why the members of the Fed that convene to determine this activity is known as the FOMC. They set the Fed Funds Rate. In 2020, they printed a lot of US dollars and bought bonds to lower the rate. They went to 0%. When inflation started they held off as long as they could, but eventually the bond market started to sell off and the rate was rising BEFORE they started raising rates.
They raised the rate by simply stopping the purchases. We're now at 5.33% (target band between 5.25%-5.5%).
The reason people are confused is the following. They are correct that the FOMC will try to lower rates, and will do that by printing money and buying bonds. It does not matter if this is in response to a crisis or an election or wtv... doesnt matter now. All that matters is how much money they print and the interest rate.
The bond market is already anticipating the scale of the problems in the economy because of the debts everywhere (and the US deficit now) and people don't want to hold that debt for 3-4% anymore.
When the Fed does QE, instead of the interest rate going down, the rate will want to go up instead. The market is going to panic because until now, and even right now (because a lot of people think i'm wrong) people thought that the interest rate was set by the government and the Fed, end of discussion. The problem is that there are still a lot of private holders of the US debt (the bonds which set the interest rate) and they can see that the fed will print a lot of money soon and they dont want to hold the bonds at 3% or 4%, they want a higher return because inflation is eating so much of that return.

You're just getting old dude, which is why zoomers seem so weird to you. I know, I'm 39 and I train 22 year olds right out of college and I see the disconnect. It feels like they're just phoning in their entire lives. But yet, they make it work within their age group. I've been in the same field since I was 18 and I remember when the WW2 generation still had their marbles and EVERYTHING I did was wrong from their point of view, it got a little better with boomers, gen x were/are the best because they just sit there and do what they're told, then there's the younger millennials that are batshit insane and turn everything into a problem. It's all a matter of perception.

And on a side note, is it just me or do zoomer chicks have weird pussies? I'm banging pic related (she's 19 btw) and she would be the 5th girl between 18-25 that just has a weird looking vegana. breasts are strange too. I just turned 27 years old!
A friend of my gf is a psychologist for young adults and she is telling us constantly that not just her but the people she works with, some of whom have been doing this 40+ years are saying that people are literally fricked. Not just them but the parents too.
            This is objectively happening.
The WW2 generation was probably talking about work ethic or some shit. What we're talking about now isl iteraly mental illness. People are saying out loud, to the world, that their 7 year old child doesnt want to be a boy or girl and then sterilizing the kid and this is considered normal now. The world does not consider this normal, they consider this insane.
20% of the world's prisoners are in the USA, and it's 4% of world population. Most of that incarceration came since the 1970's and 1980's, that's when the economy really started turning into this 'thing'.
As for pic related the pussies are completely normal but they are a lot easier than previous generations, so them getting around more often might be doing it.

YES! I mean young women these days have no bullshit radars. I can lie about owning a yacht and not have to elaborate any further, and just be like "I love Sushi" and they're like "I love Sushi too" and before you know it they're naked on your bed...but then the sex is so unsatisfying. I also bang women my own age and older, and I'm semi addicted to this 47 year old that kind of looks like how Natalie Portman does now and: A) I can have a literal conversation with her that's actually interesting, and B) the sex is fricking amazing and she can't even get pregnant anymore!

But the 19 year old smells like youth and life whereas the 47 year old smells like coffee and whatever the fricking perfume that ALL women wear when they hit their mid 40s is.

            >where do you get younger women

Well I sell real estate and am in the process of starting my own Apartment Locator Agency business, and I also manage HOAs and regular apartment buildings, so I'm ALWAYS talking to people and meeting new human beings every day. Although unethical, I do tend to sleep with tenants from time to time; it's not illegal! And then the brokerage where I work has rookies (mostly young women who just got their licenses) and I'm a trainer which means I take them on sales calls, show them how to use all of our sales tools, open houses, and there's a lot of lunches and dinners with clients or I've just noticed that sitting down at a quiet restaurant is good place to discuss business...which of course leads to other conversations and combine that with a few Long Island Ice Teas and sometimes we just go straight to the backseat or a motel. Only rule I have is they have to be over 18 and CANNOT be married. I'm also not in the business of breaking hearts so I make it very clear that this is casual sex and that I'm married. Yeah I know, I won't frick married women but I'll cheat on my wife; I never said I ran a perfect program, but I could never mow another guy's lawn if you know what I mean.

The problem is that people are looking in the rear view mirror, and even if they look through the windshield, the USA is turning a massive fricking corner. This debt problem, whether it's deflation or inflation, is going to change a LOT of shit. No place is perfect, and no place right now is free, which sucks, but if we're talking about shit hitting the fan in the next few years (certainly before 2030), then people jumping into the water should be praying for dry land or a boat to save them... not complaining that they got wet and that there isn't first class accomodations waiting for them...This is a sign, all of this is exactly what you'd expect to see from people that have had billions of people around the world working for them for free all this time.
There is an old Greek saying, "Whom the gods would destroy, they would first make mad" and I think it applies here.

Honestly, i'm not sure Milei will be enough to actually turn the tide. If things slow down for the USA, they slow down for Argentina, at least for now.
I know it sucks, but I think the west is just so saddled with massive debt, it's tough for Argentina to get out of the gravitational pull of it before that bomb goes off.
All these 'elites' own (soon to be) worthless 'assets' in nations that are all about to be pushed to the left massively by a currency crisis in the USA and other countries.
I just don't think Argentina can be among the few countries to resist the mob of poverty and woke that is going to emerge from that.

Because they'll end up fricking joining us! You can't just fricking inflate the debt away and not expect issues.
Americans dont understand just how fricked socialism is. They will try it and realize, but i dont want to be near that shit.

venezuela's hit rock bottom, probably slide some more but you can get a fixerup house for about $6000. not advertised online, but if you check facebook groups you might be able to.
venezuelans are fleeing like rats - that's what other south americans are saying on twitter at least.

now or soon is the time to buy. there's electricity and water outages now but recovery's going to come eventually.

This. There's a picture with him in front of the New York Chabad Lubavich headquarters with a yarmulke on. Could be photoshopped, but I don't trust anyone put in power.

I am not saying I wish to see Argentina to...no... I do really. My bet is Argentina finishing it's run to become 3rd world country under him. It will be amazing set for new wave of post apocalyptic movies.

No biz should remain as physically decentralized as possible otherwise it makes for an easy target. Milei is a globohomosexual puppet anyways.
