History

How Christians say history happened:

>God sat around for infinite time smelling his own farts
>"I got it! I'll create another realm with other beings for some reason!"
>Creates the Universe and Earth in 6 days
>Creates low IQ animals that do nothing but eat and shit for some reason
>Proofs human race into existence out of dust 6,000 years ago
>They eat the magic fruit and God curses the whole Universe gets cursed
>God floods the entire Earth to kill all humans except 8 (and all evil animals)
>Didn't work because he forgot to lift the curse, so humans go back to being sinful
>"I got it! I'll send myself as a sacrifice to myself to lift the curse! Brilliant!"
>It worked. It actually fricking worked. The human race is saved.
>2,000 years of suffering and death continue as if nothing changed
>God is nowhere to be found
>World is on the brink of nuclear war and humans about to go extinct

How history really happened:
>Universe emerged from the unknown
>Expanded over 13.7 billion years
>Particles formed hydrogen atoms, which formed stars, which exploded and formed new elements, which formed asteroids, which formed planets, of which 1 of the hundred trillion planets formed animated self-replicating matter called life by random chance
>Life evolved through the process of natural selection over 4 billion years from simple cell to complex multi-cell organisms
>Struggle, competition, war, suffering and death present from the very beginning
>Ape-like creatures evolved into modern humans
>Humans created civilization, language, writing, religion and technology
>Humans still carry in them all the primitive animalistic traits and instincts of their ancestors, which causes suffering
>No God was ever involved in any step of the process

That's a nice fairy tale you're telling yourself. Do people really believe in billions of years and evolution? in 2023?

Yes, most of the scientists making all the progress of the world that give us medicine, computers, and all technological advancement believe in evolution and are atheists.

The general public (you) who know nothing, have no skills, and contribute nothing to the world are the ones that believe in God.

Although funny enough now that I think about it, one of my very first classes the professor started to go into how the universe it 13 billion years old apropos of nothing. Literally it was a class on financial statistics and he started teaching us how to calculate the supposed age of the universe. So hey maybe you'd fit right in. Send in an application!

Bucko the universe is far older than 13.7 years old, the OBSERVABLE universe is 13.7 billion years old. It's like being in a puddle and you can only observe things in the puddle. So you exclaim the 'universe' (which you can't tell is a puddle) was created 13.7 billion years ago, which is true, but it was created as a result of the actual universe.

Big bang is a hoax universe's age cannot be calculated only relative age of local observable space time can be relarionally calculated

    Fricking religious moron

Universe is expanding, which can be confirmed from the redshifting and blueshifting of galaxies.

            >Universe is expanding
There is zero evidence of this
            The observable universe is expanding
That does not mean the universe is expanding
You cannot make claims outside of what is verifiable unless it's based on faith

You are telling about how the unobservable universe behaves, how it doesn't expand, yet you have no data to back that up.

Why would the observable universe be expanding but the unobservable part not be expanding? It's all part of the same thing except for our light boundary.

Everything we can observe is approximately 13.7 billion years old
And the observable matter is expanding
That alone is not evidence of anything to lead us to believe in a "big bang", current understanding of redshift disproves the big bang

Reality happens to be too complicated for a good portion of humans to understand. They choose an easier superstition with a story that tickles their emotions, belief that they’re special and idea that they’ll live forever.

have you considered that mythology describes the Logic behind reality in a culturally relevant context? Do you understand that logic is universal and known to all beings that know language? Do you understand that the fruit symbolizes a certain knowledge? Do you understand that this knowledge makes people suffer? Do you understand that there is a path to not suffer anymore?

let me greentext it for you

    your logic:

    >the big bang
    >earth
    >biology
    >evolution
    >social behaviour
    >moral systems/religion/culture
    >superficial meta-awareness of this process

    deep logic:

    >I understand that all religion is behavior
    >So I should find the right behaviour
    >the right behaviour is evolutionarily bound so I must find knowledge to educate myself on the right behaviour
    >I must explore the subconscious
    >Perhaps I can take some drugs like a curious child

maybe trip hard enough that reality disintegrates, you'll understand religischizos
