    >"We know that the Zanj (blacks) are the least intelligent and the least discerning of mankind, and the least capable of understanding the consequences of actions."[9]
    Al-Jahiz (781–869)
    >[Blacks are] people who are by their very nature slaves.[12]
    Ibn Sina (980-1037)
    >[The Zanj (African) differ from animals only in that] their two hands are lifted above the ground,... Many have observed that the ape is more teachable and more intelligent than the Zanj.[12]
    Nasīr al-Dīn al-Tūsī (1201-1274)
    >Do not intermarry with the sons of Ham [blacks] for they are the distorted among God’s creatures . . .”
    Al-Masudi (896-956)
    >"beyond [known peoples of black West Africa] to the south there is no civilization in the proper sense. There are only humans who are closer to dumb animals than to rational beings. They live in thickets and caves, and eat herbs and unprepared grain. They frequently eat each other. They cannot be considered human beings."[9]
    Ibn Khaldun (1332–1406)

OP asked about Arabs and the Islamic civilisation as such, not the opinions of clerics, which some of these are anyway. We do not care for the technicalities of theology.

Arabs are the most racist people on Earth.

This, but unironically. They are one of last bastions of slavery on earth.

Look at the population of the United Arab Emirates, or just any Gulf Arab state and generally more than half of it is composed of foriegn domestic workers used for labor that may may not have their work visas being upheld so they can't leave. These are generally Africans, South Asians and South East Asians. The likihood of just being invited to work overseas and being held against your will is still a reality. This is all while the native population doesn't work at all is is paid off by the monarchy's oil bucks.

In 2011, a slave trading app had to be shut down and mind you this was just one of many.

The Arab/Transaharan/Islamic slave trade is still going on in parts of the muslim world today. Mostly in Arabia with Domestic Workers, and Mauritania with the Beidan and Haratin.

My Arab friend says that even today most Arabs use the word "slave" when referring to black people.

Pretty much the entire non-white and non black world does. Even Pajeets were appalled that they were placed on the same level as blacks in South Africa. Arabs are a very racist people though, but despite that they intermarried with their black slaves, most likely the femals as the Anglo Americans did too while the later was not absorbed into the main population

Yes as I recall this was a big issue with a young Mohandas Gandhi. Probably get him canceled down the line one day.

While Muslim apologies say "no racism in Islam" and sure there isn't in terms of religion,
Muslims and Arabs hated black Africans. they viewed them as backward used them as slaves and treated them extremely badly.

they even fought the Europeans in Africa during their colonization to keep blacks for themselves as slaves

youre exaggerating anon, theres many highly esteemed black people in islam and islamic history, just look at Bilal ibn Rabah who was called prince and chief, and the Negus who was muslim, and the black shaykh of Imam Shaafii

Bilal was Mohammed's eunuch slave. He was known for his sweet singing voice so we can assume he was castrated before puberty like those choirboys

        i always love this argument
        >islam isn't racist because bilal
sure bilal was important and other black Muslims were important but those are a handful of examples. in general blacks, and especially those slaves, weren't treated great and viewed as subhumans
but modern Muslims almost worship the black kuffar so i guess times have changed

When Abram was 99 years old, Yahweh appeared to him. He said to Abram, “I am El Shadday. Live in my presence with integrity. I will give you my promise, and I will give you very many descendants.” Immediately, Abram bowed with his face touching the ground, and again Elohim spoke to him, “My promise is still with you. You will become the father of many nations. So your name will no longer be Abram [Exalted Father], but Abraham [Father of Many] because I have made you a father of many nations. I will give you many descendants. Many nations and kings will come from you. I will make my promise to you and your descendants for generations to come as an everlasting promise. I will be your Elohim and the God of your descendants. I am also giving this land where you are living—all of Canaan—to you and your descendants as your permanent possession. And I will be your Elohim.”

Elohim also said to Abraham, “You and your descendants in generations to come are to be faithful to my promise. This is how you are to be faithful to my promise: Every male among you is to be circumcised. All of you must be circumcised. That will be the sign of the promise from me to you. For generations to come every male child who is eight days old must be circumcised, whether he is born in your household or bought with money from a foreigner who’s not related to you. Every male born in your household or bought with your money is to be circumcised without exception. So my promise will be a sign on your flesh, an everlasting promise. Any uncircumcised male must be excluded from his people because he has rejected my promise.”

If you weren't Islamic you were considered inferior and fair game to be enslaved regardless of race. Religion was more important to them than race. That being said some Arabs seemed to have viewed sub-Saharans as less capable of performing complex tasks than whites.

That’s just false, Islam has and will always favor people who spoke Arabic over all else, most of whom were Arabs and North Africans. This isnt Christianity that viewed all as equal and spread without enforcing another culture on their neighbors, where Islam spread, Arabic spread. The only reason Arabic isnt spoken in Iran today is because the Turks conquered them before it could become common

You should read about the Zanj rebellion: How the Muslims caused it and how they dealt with it.
