    Keep recordings of everything and spring them when the time is right. Project managers are too stupid to understand but the owners will, when they see how they are wasting their time not creating any business value for the company.

    I only work at startups now as the only dev but when I used to work at corps and we'd inevitably hire stupid autistic Black folk that did this and thought they were going to CHANGE THE WOOOOORLD, my strategy was to also notify git managers (Yes we were big enough to just have someone monitoring git all day) to show that they made literally 0 commits in the last 2 months that were merged. This would usually get them fired within the week. Call them on their cell phone then offer to be a reference and when the next job calls tell them they are a shit candidate. I still get calls from an autistic piece of shit I did this to as he's been trying to find a job for like 5 years.

        No because every corporate job I ever had was like this until I learned to do this. If you don't get autistics fired quick then we all know what happens is they will just get fired once someone else figures it out, then YOU will be responsible for the lost time gap. I did this like 5 times by getting the team to not listen to the autistic frick and thought I'd get away with it but then I'd have to pull 2 weeks of all nighters to get us back on track after they were fired. Getting the stupid frick fired quick is the only solution.

          Get him fired for underperforming by tinkering outside of his own unpaid time. Tell him to switch to embedded or to find a quiet place where he'd be the only actual dev. morons failing to keep up with modern lang / api / whatever features are a cancer and a burden for the whole team. The amount of technical debt he will accumulate for you over the course of his employment time will make you crawl the walls. This guy knows his shit:

      One of the big corps I worked at had a bunch of smelly jeets who actually walked around telling everyone to basically just spam everything they had access to. If it's git, spam it with 1 line commits, if it's jira, spam it with useless tickets. They KNOW what they are doing but, to counter your gay concern trolling made up story, this only lasted for 3 weeks before the VP (white) got them mother fricking deported. Justice prevails, the system works
