What a compelling argument but I'm not an atheist. The Mormon view of history is simply bonkers. Natives were israelites, Jesus was in America, among other outlandish claims. If you want to be Mormon, do it because you like their morals and sense of community, because they're very off in the history department

do they still believe that black people got that skin color for being evil or did they get another revelation about that in the 80s?

I wonder if nigs have still been converting to mormonism for the last 10 years. Surely they don't take the "blackness is a mark of evil" thing well, do they?

Jesus got a superpower that lets him do anything (omnipotence)
what's the problem with him being in America?

Do you really think you have to be a practicing Mormon to live your life and conduct yourself more like they do? They aren't doing any magic. You appreciate their values as a non-member, there's literally no reason you couldn't live those values as a non-member or associate with Mormons just because they are nice people and you like them.

If the credibility of the Book is a condition for that then you will continue to be a degenerate jerk, I guess. It's nonsense.

I will argue that out of the thousand denomination, apostolic and baptist have been pure cancer for the communities in which they have taken root. They perpetuate poverty, cultivate envy, vanity, and work like cults overall. On the other hand mormonism somehow manages to give them a semblance of unity and solidarity. It's such a preferable ideology that anything that validates it would be welcome.

Catholicism is unified and global too, and it actually teaches of Christ

Catholicism is weak, and the corruption of its church led to the creation of protestantism. Catholicism caused to loss of those souls.

Also, the most fervent catholic communities owe their devotion not to the teaching of christ but paganism, as seen in the very successful cults of the Virgin of Guadalupe and Lady of Fatima, which are not even officially recognized by the catholic church.

Buddy, if you think Mormonism is more pure than Catholicism, you missed Christ’s teaching

What more validation do you need for living a clean, generous life and cherishing family bonds besides seeing those things as obvious goods

Like seriously if you want that life you can just have it by behaving like that.

Think about the idiots for whom those are not enough, the ones that come seeking miracles and tongue bullshit to believe. Catholicism has forsaken those and is paying for it. I'm not viewing this from a religious point of view but as a civil matter.
