I've been using Linux as my desktop OS for almost two years and haven't had a single crash so I wouldn't know.

      >Robert Shubert, male, 28, living at 435 Helm Street, NYC, phone number 1 69420 55555, who's one of the coder for this software, has made a off by one mistake in a for loop in the function used to display the results of your request. As a result, the software crashed unexpectedly, displaying this convenient and lenghty error message. As a workaround, make sure your request always returns at least one result.

You don't know enough about computers to act on a full description of what went wrong. It's in fact why error messages are so short, and the real meat gets sent to (for example) the Windows event logs for those with a high enough IQ to diagnose and solve problems.

People like you though should just use the Repair Wizards, or maybe reinstall - it's all you're qualified for.

Hmm, four asshurt loontroon posts in a row. Must have hit a nerve.
I'd probably feel sorry for you failures, but you walk into that particular woodchipper face-first every single time.

it takes a lot of work to implement that and it will add a lot of complexity to code
not worth doing unless a problem is known to come up a lot or there is something the user can do to fix the issue

If the system has enough capacity to shit out an "error 3726" then it also has the capacity to shit out "error 3726 - pointer indexed out of bounds"

It's no different than -69845. It's a cryptic code for an error that can be printed in 3 words or less.
