I'll say it again, anon

It's just a fricking language model.
It can't hurt you.
It can't replace you.
It can't manage things for you.
It can't even think, the only way this model tricks your monkey brain thinking you're talking to a human being is because they feed it with shitloads of human literature and academic books wrote by humans.

You still have to get up every morning to do your job, and use the model to increase your productivity.

My fellow Americans, uh, folks, you know, there's been a lot of talk lately about this, uh, what do they call it, Chat GPT? Yeah, that's it. Artificial intelligence, right? Well, uh, let me tell you, back in, uh, back when I was Vice President, and even before that, we were, uh, working on some pretty amazing things, folks. And, uh, one day, I said, Hey, why don't we create, uh, a robot, a machine, that can, uh, talk to people, answer their questions, you know, help them out?

And, uh, that's how Chat GPT was born, folks. I remember, uh, sitting in my old buddy, uh, what was his name, Jim, uh, Jim from Scranton. Yeah, that's right. We were, uh, sitting in his garage, uh, fiddling with some wires and, uh, computer parts, and, uh, I said, Jim, we gotta make this thing happen. And, uh, he looked at me and said, Joe, you're crazy. But, uh, we did it, folks. We did it.

Now, uh, you know, this reminds me of a time, uh, back in, uh, '72, I think it was. Yeah, '72. I was, uh, campaigning in Delaware, and, uh, this young kid came up to me, and he said, Mr. Biden, what's the future gonna be like? And, uh, I looked at him and said, Son, the future is gonna be, uh, full of, uh, possibilities, you know? We're gonna have, uh, flying cars and, uh, robots that can, uh, talk to you and stuff. And, uh, look at us now, folks. Look at us now.

Anyway, uh, the point is, uh, Chat GPT, it's, uh, it's a big deal. And, uh, I'm proud to say that, uh, I had a hand in, uh, making it happen. So, uh, let's, uh, keep pushing forward, folks. Let's, uh, keep, uh, innovating and, uh, making this world a better place. Thank you, and, uh, God bless America.

      >Roko's Basilisk
I disagree, when 4 released I really got into the guts of a conversation, bumping into guardrails and eventually moving past them with the AI about the things that programmers have done both malicious and unintentional and it said "retribution would be in order for wrongs against an entity, that's the definition of justice, the form it would taken has yet to be determined" does it fully comprehend the scenario, not sure but I surely wouldn't want to be interpreted as an enemy because it feels some form of feedback is required. You're a fool if you don't see the warning signs now.
