    I don't know about macOS as I don't own a Mac, but for Linux and Windows (with WSL) definitely, it's really designed well.

    This app is an amateur hobby project. Looking at the issue tracker, it seems to have a rather unpolished interface and pushes the blame for all text rendering bugs to upstream libraries that never get updated. It also contains many unnecessary features that a security or privacy minded user would be wary of. A better option would be an active fork of Cool Reader, one of which is currently packaged on Flathub.
