Is pic related a good analog for the apparent dichotomy between physical and spiritual reality?

Is pic related a good analog for the apparent dichotomy between physical and spiritual reality? Are we all just arguing for different sides of the same coin?

That doesn't prove "spiritual reality" exists

            >qualia
Not real, consciousness is 100% physical

I do, thanks to the physical processes taking placing in my brain. What does any of that have to do with unproven magical nonsense?

      >No such thing exists
You are using your personal, subjective, perception of reality as proof by contradiction.

If you were a Logician of some sort and produced a post of value, sure...you have a "work" to contraduct it. Me thinks you have feelings of certainty based on emotions that are logically inferred from the lack of knowledge you possess.

Me thinks youre not considering Mathematics and Probabilities enough.

No, it's a bad analogy since it implies that truth is merely subjective and the lroduct of personal opinion. Truth must be objective, whether physical or spiritual, or else it is no truth at all.

No, it argues that truth is objective (i.e. the cylinder), but our perception of truth is subjective (i.e. circle/square).

If you can only access the truth as a subjective truth, it is not objectively true.

By definition, the existence of objective truth isn't dependent on your subjective perception of it. You're simply wrong and I won't argue the meaning of English words any further.

You can only access God through subjective truth, so God is not objectively true.
          Agree?

Well the only absolutely verifiable truth is your own personal consciousness, so if we apply that kind of rigour to the world we experience we find no truth at all. There is always a gap, room for exceptions and special cases, and that is what science in particular is dedicated to studying. If there were truth at all science would be of no value, science is the process of shrinking those blind spots by experimentation not of affirming some absolute conditions of things like religious dogma.

pic related is a great analog
      yes

that is literally what the image OP posted demonstrates, true things are images of THE truth even when they appear to contradict relative to one another

it's because both relatives are derived from a single absolute truth

But one side of a coin is the same shape as the other side. You're talking about arguing from the perspective of the rim side of a coin and the face side or sides. And those are completely different arrangement. What you were saying is essentially meaningless and a linguistic game.

"Two sides of the same coin" is an expression. Are you autistic or ESL?
