Is the family model obsolete?

What is the most efficient way for humans to organize? History has proven that
>Family is a failure
Monarchies don't guarantee competence and blood relations don't mean one can trust siblings to not murder you for the throne. Also inefficient in the modern world
>The State is a failure
Fascism hasn't worked and as the world gets more interconnected, the lines between countries will disappear.
>Corporations
Is this perhaps the best way? The most competent elements naturally rise to the top thanks to the laws of the Free Market but that also means your inheritance may go to external but more competent people who may not be blood related to you.

Just wondering why anyone should care about blood ties when one could choose a more competent descendant through the free market

I know. But I still like to indulge these questions. Why not choose a more competent descendant. What is even the purpose of family?

Im sorry that you think theres a possibility of having an intelligent conversation about why family has no purpose, that's really sad and inhuman. Again anon I hope you have a nice rest of your day and a nice Christmas. if you want pity for your shitty home life, try /LULZ/ next time

I see. Makes sense and thanks anon. So will a better system than capitalism exists?

        Anonymous

No better system than capitalism exist for identifying and servicing demand and thus providing the highest quality of life for the most people, at least in terms of how we think of quality of life.

A better system could exist if you think people are better off not having their demands serviced. Like if you think people would actually be happier in a primitivist society. Or if you think society has some higher calling beyond the market as capitalism can't mobilize people to work on projects without market forces.

None of them are perfect but monarchies are the best

But the more people the harder it is to manage, and blood relationship doesn't imply that the descendants will be as capable as the original monarch to rule.

The optimal society would be run by an AI with zero human input beyond the initial creation.

But what values would the AI have? I mean an optimization function can be run but on what basis?

in any model where you are not protected by your family or a capitalist market that seeks to milk you dry, adult men with e-girl german anime girls saved would be culled by the state
or imagine an algorithm that determines who needs resources, is a family of 5 with two functioning and healthy parents going to be seen as equally important to humans who have no loved ones and no prospects in life, no job and a nazi e-girl porn stash saved on their hard drive? people who have failed so hard at socialization are not worth any resources to keep alive when compared to fully functioning humans, go jack off to more e-girl porn and have a nice day already

But would the concept of family even be necessary in such a system? Maybe the algorithm can just pair off people that it detects are good matches and proper genetic breeds.

            >But would the concept of family even be necessary in such a system?
yes, humans have never not had families. we evolved to want loved ones and want to take care of our loved ones.
            >Maybe the algorithm can just pair off people that it detects are good matches and proper genetic breeds.
this literally already exists today, you can go pay a matchmaking company to find you a girlfriend if you have enough money. Why would government need to step in on one of the most basic human feelings of love? thats just sad and moronic anon, im sorry if life hasn't been good to you. but don't take that out on the world, its not worth it

            >we evolved to want loved ones and want to take care of our loved ones.
But do they necessarily need to have blood ties? What about the system selected the most competent or most like us to support and make a family?

you can already do that anon, go to a matchmaking service to find you a wife and then adopt children. I really fail to see any intellectual concepts you are drawing from. your infantile and womanly tone doesn't help your lack of anything substantial to say

But the State is bound to disappear due to globalization

the state is bound to disapear into a large and bigger one world state?

            >Nuclear family remains unbeaten, generally speaking.
What is it good for? Your income may go to morons for all you know and just because they got blood ties doesn't mean they'll care to support you.

that just means you have a shitty family, boo hoo a lot of us do, go out and make friends and get married, that becomes your new family.

none of this is historical or related to the liberal arts in any way, its incel meltdown.

Yes, there's no longer gonna be an incentive to follow the order or an us vs them attitude because there will be no them. We need space squids to unite humans after that.

    >What is the most efficient way for humans to organize?
Nuclear family remains unbeaten, generally speaking.
    >Monarchies don't guarantee competence and blood relations don't mean one can trust siblings to not murder you for the throne.
This is just for power relations. Plus betrayal exists no matter the system of government.
    >Also inefficient in the modern world
Political and financial dynasties continue to exist and dominate the world over.
    >Fascism hasn't worked
The state has no ideology, the state transcends ideology, and in its most basic form, the state only cares for itself.
    >and as the world gets more interconnected, the lines between countries will disappear.
Do not confuse the state with countries or nations, they are not the same.
    moron.
    >The most competent elements naturally rise to the top thanks to the laws of the Free Market
Only in the world of abstractions.
Corporations don't have much political potential unless they can restrain or destroy the state. In which case they gain great potential.
