Is the Herman Miller Aeron the best chair of all time?

Is the Herman Miller Aeron the best chair of all time? If even terrorists want that sweet back support, I figure it must be pretty good for programmers too.

To be fair Ikea DO make a chairs with a reasonable amount of adjustment in the forms of the JÄRVFJÄLLET and STYRSPEL ranges which are slightly more expensive than the MARKUS, but i think once people decide to spend more than what they'd spend on a MARKUS they just go all in and drop a grand or two on a Herman-Miller, Steelcase or some other high end chair.

I bet you were too stupid to discover the adjustments

This chair has almost no adjustments at all, so unless you are already exactly the right shape and size it's a very uncomfortable chair.

But who cares, it's comfy and my IQ is high enough for me to have found the chair adjustments. And I removed the lumbar support too.

Great quality and possible to get a used one for cheap. Aeron is not as cozy, but farts does not get merged with the pillow, so it's up to you to decide what matters.

I like the Aeron because it's comfortable, doesn't get too hot, and the resale value is great. I bought a 2000's era refurbed one for like $300 at one point. Used it for like 5 years, then wanted to replace it with the new model. Found someone to buy it off me for $250 (it was starting to have some mechanical problems related to the aftermarket refurb parts; if that weren't the case, I bet I could've gotten at least $300 for it). That's pretty good value retention for something like a chair.

Also, something I like about the Aeron (particularly the new models) that is not obvious to people looking at pictures on the internet: The weaving of the seat and back are the real innovation of the chair. If you compare a closeup of the weave to a knockoff woven chair, you will see the difference in quality immediately. They have the material science perfected, to a point where the new models don't even require foam; they just beef up the rigidity of the weave where the foam used to be.

I mean, something like 70,000 individual villages and settlements were bombed and hit by coalition forces during the 20 year period. It's not like the Mutt GWOT "heroes" had great support from the populace anyway.

In fact in raw #s, populace supported Talibs on a larger % basis than Vietnamese supported VietCong, especially as time went on.

It just wasn't meant to be. Mutts should stick to C/S America for their social engineering and "democratization" projects.

The most important thing is to use an actual ergonomic office chair rather than one of these moronic gaming chairs that resemble racing car seats.
