Islam has Luciferian/Satanic origins?

>Hanif in the Quran means the followers of the religion of Abraham
>Its origin is from the Syriac root meaning “to deceive, to turn pagan, to lead into paganism”. The Syriac word refers to pagans and deceivers
Muslimbros... It's not looking good..

It depends if you take the theological position of Christianity in that it's a perverse, anti-Christ filled false religion of Satan or the secular one in that it's just a religion of a sex addict warlord from its time.

    >whole religion is anti-idolotry
    >seek refuge in God away from satan whenever you pray
    >satan is called an enemy, ingrate, etc in the Quran
    >Jesus is going to come back to kill the anti-christ

this whole black stone ka'aba business is tired as well. there is nothing incoherent about a direction or prayer or a temple or legal requirement if you are a Christian, as they acknowledge that israelites really were commanded to pray and sacrifice in a temple, had so many laws, etc. "le new covenant" doesn't make sense in this context since Islam sees itself as fulfilling the new covenant which was corrupted.

They’re both idolatrous and deceptive, neither being of YHWH. Just some old Arabian and Canaanite gods tricking the nations.

      religion is anti-idolotry
That's what it claims, not its observable reality.
      >>seek refuge in God away from satan whenever you pray
      أَعُوذُ literally means I incantate.
is called an enemy, ingrate, etc in the Quran
      You're so fricking stupid.

Deus was used to refer to pagan gods in latin pre-christianity and similarly in other indo-european languages that same naming scheme was used to refer to God. The name comes from proto-indo european Deus Pāter, a head deity, so Zeus, Jupiter (Iu-pater) and other indo-european deities have derived from it.

The crescent became an Ottoman symbol during Mehmet because it was one of the symbols of Constantinople. It does show up in Muslim heraldry before that but not a lot and it was never any kind of universally agreed upon symbol for Islam. It even had some Marian associations before the conquest. They are textually very debatable ofc but if you read sira literature most of Muhammad's flags (all of them that I can think of actually) were just solid flags of various colors. And off the top of my head I can only think of white, black and yellow being used so even the association of Islam with green may have taken a while to evolve, idk.
    >dae agree Satan is really scary and is behind everyone who disagrees with me
If you read the New Testament again with this in mind you will see a lot of ambiguity around Jesus and Lucifer where explicitly luciferian imagery ("I am the bright and morning star", that is Venus i.e. Lucifer) or imagery that could easily be read as luciferian according to later understandings of Lucifer and/or Satan (both descend from the heavens into the world of matter, both are associated with light, John comparing Jesus to the bronze snake idol from Numbers etc.) is applied to Jesus. So from a pov that assumes "Lucifer" exists it's not automatically clear that Christianity isn't luciferian either.

And it's a dumb question because anyone who's already a Christian is going to agree with you and anyone who isn't won't no matter what.
