I don't know how accurate that chart that shows like 70% of people still not being on Windows11 is, but I hope windows 12 addresses it by making is light weight so low end hardware and run it, removing all the security shit and bloat

Windows 12 will run your instance of Copilot locally on your machine, ensuring that your GPU is always being 100% utilized!

Windows 12, get the most out of your GPU warranty today!

copilot is not running on your CPU, moron. It's running on someone else's GPU and all of your data is being streamed to them and then back to you. Literally everything you type will be sent to microsoft.

the only way that could happen is if they made win12 a light wrapper around 365 like chromeos is for google workspace
      i suppose that is possible

        Anonymous

It's possible they would make something like this, but I doubt they'd call it Windows 12.

copilot is a really good product, sad to see it being developed by such a soulless conglomerate.

It's okay for some things but ridiculously stupid for others. Try asking "What is the first name of the current Queen of England?" Not only does it get it wrong, it completely ignores the requested response type and gives a paragraph in response.

Already DO NOT WANT! Frick this microsoft botnet, the more reason ditch windows and move to linux or whatever. Win 10 spying was BAD (had to kill most of it where possible), win 11 fricking shit, now you going to have full blown botnet and no control over your system. Thank's but no thank's. I rid of cortana, I rid of most telemetry, I rid of moronic search where it's starting search all fricking web for file or program witch on your machine. I leave this "AI" shit for moronic and gulible. If I forced to move to 12 for whatever reason, you can be sure I will mutilate it to submission to, if possible, if not, I'm NOT USING IT.

        Anonymous

Yeah I really don't like the idea of an AI controlling my OS. It's ironic, when Windows 8 and 10 came out I thought they where the worst versions of Windows ever and stuck to 7 until support came out. Now I'm on 10 IoT LTSC and it really doesn't feel that bad compared to 11 and what 12 is turning out to be.

When AI first became a thing, learning models were just a fun toy for hobbyists. AI still feels like a Markov chain just with a lot more data. But the boomers running Microsoft will never understand this and think its some kind of futuristic all encompassing solution.

My prediction is when the 11 LTSC goes public it will be 'good enough' like 10 LTSC is.

on windows 12 you will tell copilot to run programs instead of clicking on them

Win 10 actually utilises machine resources better than 7, but... You need to break it legs sew it's lips, put in the cage, beat it to submission and still you can't be sure you have full control of your system and it ceased spying works 100% for you. You need neuter your 10/11 to make it really useful, you know, like XP was... In that regard, google more honest, giving away it's botnet for free in phone form. For win, you need fricking pay and you get for that spyware, bloatware, crapware, you can't even remove (without special touch).

You have to find out by yourself. if you really need it, you will find right tools. Consider it's a test for a will to survive. Or by hand, manually, for both options you need to know what a frick you are doing unless you want shitload butthurt or revive your ruined system from image (if you was smart). Also, you must understand, lot of shit stop working after that awesome procedure. But! (pic related) notice anything unusual? No more moronic web search, no (or less) telemetry, windows bloatware gone including windows store, cortana KIA. It's fricking bliss, I just got system to work, without any hassle. I suggest doing by hand, turning of services you don't need, cutting out bs. But here you must be precise and really know what to do and why you must do it. If you don't just leave this botnet and take linux pill, at first it will hurt, a little, but then you start getting tons of pleasure from it...

I've been using AtlasOS for about a month now. I've not experienced any downsides yet. Most of the games I've played all worked pretty well with any crashes or frick ups. Visual Studio still runs like dog shit but explorer feels snappier and there are way less processes and threads running in the system when idle.
Also, it took about 20 minutes to install on a fresh Windows 10 Pro install.

Windows(TM) 10/11/12(TM) product is for humiliating and torturing wagies who are there to abuse and misuse Excel like brainlets they are (using it as a horrible notes taking application) on a generic HP Lenovo budget-"business"-class laptop (128G of storage, 8G of RAM) filled with maximum amount of corporate bloatware (several VPNs, keyloggers and application blockers, 3rd-party ActiveDirectoy account authenticators and password checkers, Norton Antivirus 2018, network drivers for the office Xerox machines that no one uses etc.) so that it barely works and that every other Teams call lags and causes a hard reset.

    >here's Windows 12, it still uses the same dogshit web UI and has even more spyware, but this time it has a huge neural network loaded in 24/7 and your NPU will start eating power whenever you click on a button or look at an image, gotta protect the children and all that
