        OP

kek. There's definitely something about it...all the colors and buttons. But the actual content is so tiny you can barely read it.

It has to be some serious condition for IQfy being unable to work with vsc or at least notepad++. It gets tiring.

        >unable to work
some of us are using work devices we don't have full liberty to choose our applications. VSC is slow as frick btw

looks fine to me if you just get rid of the toolbars. i don't see any button you'd ever use that wouldn't have an easy keybinding.

Imagine the autism needed to make these GUIs. I get a headache if I have to implement any buttons.

Yea, it's because you morons are zoomers who are lethargic to usable software. Instead of competent GUI applications, we have to deal with your pathetic attempt at a human interface, a text document with billion-pixel padding around everything, just for the functionality of a hyperlink in a glorified PDF file. Case in point, you are seething over the effort it takes to programmatically generate a GUI, despite webshit being filled with nothing but template generators (read: frameworks) of the week. Case in point: "nooo i get a headache from for (i = 0l; i < Black person; i++) { a = new Button(); vlayout.push(a); a.onClick += Bind(MyMethod, Black personID + i) }"

Proprietary software is about performance and efficiency. It is about getting shit done. I20 years ago, I was an inventory manager for a government contractor on a military base and the software we used I didn't even look at. I just counted tab presses and used the keyboard shortcuts to get around. If I looked up I saw something similar to your OP image, but a little worse and not as dark. If someone needed to use the software, though, everything was on the screen. They would be able to do anything, just more slowly than I could. I didn't hate it, I just didn't care about it because I had shit to do.

you just gave me a new insight as to why some people (including me) use vim or emacs. I already know what I want to do and want it done as fast as possible (also want it to be as close to the same as possible for every language im working in). same reason i might use awk sed or perl to refactor.
Wish I had a screenshot of the application I had to maintain for a finance company a few years back though. It was made in msaccess 98, updated to 2001 or 2003 then later they put the servers in virtual machines and just left it to rot. The entire thing couldn't expand beyond 800x600 and every menu had dozens of buttons you would NEVER click. Every feature request they ever got while still maintaining it that could be done with a few lines in vb was thrown in and given to every customer even if that customer didn't have a license that supported the feature. You're a company operating in Minnesota that didn't pay for the inventory features? Here's a list of 20 reports to scroll past, you'd only need in Idaho, that generate from data you can't even enter!

      OP

I can ignore it, the problem is that if I shrink the window I can barely see the important content because toolbars and menus take up half the window.

It's called having features, something linuxtards don't understand.

every feature does not need to be a button/icon displayed by default, something windogs don't understand.
