KING OF NVIDIA!

There comes a time in every man's life when he stops playing and invests in this shit. When did you first start buying NVID?

Sell me on NVIDIA. My fear is that it will end up like tesla in the next few months where there was a lot of speculation, hype, the CEO is a little eccentric and then the stock bleeds out

Yeah I'd like to know what makes Nvidia so irreplaceable for AI. Surely the stage where GPU manufacturers are the ones making the best AI hardware is merely an in-between phase. Who knows what company will actually take the lead in AI hardware when that industry matures

should I just buy the S M H ETF? i assume the next nvidia should be here

          >should I just buy the S M H ETF? i assume the next nvidia should be here
The current NVDA is already in there, is the problem. If you think a company will take over from NVDA in AI hardware (almost surely at some point) then a BAKA will only move with the overall semi-conductor market as the new company sucks from NVDA, both within the holdings of the ETF.

          Gaudi, it’s Intel.

      >My fear is that it will end up like tesla in the next few months
its not at all like tesla.
every single hyperscale company(msft, meta, goog, amzn, tsla) is spending 90% of their money buying Nvidia H100's and building data centers for at least the next 2-3 years.
NVDA is going to 1000 after the split in 18 months and nothing you or anyone else can do is stopping that.

I do suggest you that you be decisive on what you want to do with your money, i had a massive chance to buy into honkler as soon as it launched thanks to an oldgay giving me a signal two weeks ago, it was around the time when nvidia was dumping and i also received several signals from people telling me to buy in since it would pump. I was too much of a pussy and didnt invest in anything because i was scared of losing money. Fast forward to today, both honkler and nvid pumped and im still here, with money that lost value because of inflation.... frick

who knows. you figure at some point all the companies buying hardware will have to show some way to make money off it but that could be years away

I know this will come off poorhomosexual but I will never invest in NVIDIA no matter how valued they get.
This is the peak of the AI bubble and their consumer grade GPUs have been the MOST EXPENSIVE pieces of SHIT with terrible performance leaps for a whole decade and a half now.
I swear, having gone through 2000-2010 anticipating each new GPU generation, around 2008 I thought we were going to have real life graphics by this point but we've failed. We have some giga shit AI trained Tensor cores that arent necessary or good, we've gone backwards in power consumption and the actual chips themselves have stopped getting smaller which is a huge negative.
I understand the fabrication plants are not capable of making great leaps any more, but that's not all. NVIDIA is basically a software company now, being that software is how they eliminate overhead in performance entirely these days. And their software is shit, intrusive, not consumer friendly.
I just fricking hate this company.
And I hate AMD as well for similar reasons.

Everything you said is true and yet the value keeps going up because investors and executives of tech companies who know nothing about technology hear the term "AI" and cum. I was watching the NBA finals last night and literally 70% of the adverts had some pointless ML or chatbot thrown into the product just so they could advertise it as using AI. They literally all think it's the greatest thing ever and NVIDIA is currently on top of the whole market for hardware, so until something threatens them (even if it ends up knocking them down or not) this doesn't seem like it will just explode out of nowhere.

Yeah, Normoids think about Nivida (data centers / AI) in the same way they think about Tesla (EV). It's less about the product and more about what the company represents.

Although, I'd say the Nivida fundamentals are better.

The smart play would be to invest in alternatives that use alternate chip producers.

Exactly what I'm doing with my Nivida gains. TMSC, ANSYS, ASML, NXP, VanEck Semiconductor ETF... gotta hedge around although I know I'm fricked when the Taiwan shitshow starts.
