Lads I got the note 7 before getting into college in 2016, it was seriously one of my favorite phones ever. I was destroyed when they asked me to return it, and honestly, to this day, occasionally I find myself thinking about it. Like a phantom pain. A device I wanted to have used for a long long time but could not.

Anyone had anything like this where you were "Forced" to move on from a device and you didn't want to do it?

      seriously this lol
I have a s22 ultra and I've used it maybe 10 times in the last two years. Most of it was during the first month I owned it.
      I fell for it.

You should have got the Galaxy Note FE, it was a rerelease of the Note 7 but with a slightly smaller battery.

LOL I also lost a BB Z10 on a walk in the woods, from that day on I've always used stuff with velcro/zippers when going for walks/hikes. It had tons of nudes of me and my gf on the sdcard, I pray to god every day that it ended up in a river or really well hidden for all eternity.

Every time I've had to buy a new phone the new ones seem to be worse than ever. I suppose by the next time I need one they'll have taken away charging ports and only allow wireless charging.
Oh same goes for just about everything, any time I find a product I like and want to keep buying it gets discontinued or reformulated. This is why I have 15 tubes of my favorite shaving cream.

My Galaxy S8 died recently, which made me sad as it was my favorite phone ever and still served my needs just fine. But I replaced it with a Motorola Edge 40 and have been pretty happy with it. Certainly it's a lot snappier, even just browsing the web in Firefox.

Had the note 8, died last year during a party, we were choosing songs on Spotify and I think water finally damaged it. The pen was really helpful when I had to sign documents, I could do it anywhere. I have a Xiaomi redmi note 12 pro now and fortunately I don't sign documents anymore. Still the Samsung felt faster.

I would still be using my Note 3 if it was fast enough. It was my favorite phone. Very soulful.

I have a Mi 9T Pro now, this is also very good, but I'll never be able to buy a new phone that has all these features and doesn't cost a fortune. It still works perfectly though.

Had the Priv for a few months in 2017. Loved that it was keeping the concept of a slider touchscreen/physical keyboard alive but the phone felt like a work in progress. It overheated like a motherfricker, battery life was ass and despite it's specs performed worse than it's contemporaries with the same SoC. By 2018 I got an LG G6.

I was forced to upgrade from my galaxy S5 due to the 3G shutdown. I went with an S10e because it's still water resistant, has microsd slot, and headphone jack.
Now the GPS antenna and gyroscope in the S10e are dead and I don't want to get a new phone because they don't have 3.5mm jacks

Asus ROG G73JH, my first personal laptop, stolen out of my car in 2017. I started hoarding electronics after that but I wonder if I just bought a used one for cheap maybe that would fill the void even though it would be one of my weaker PCs now and I probably wouldn't use it at all. Never get the files back either.
