      Windows looks like absolute shit

Windows may be inconsistent but you can see even in the various different UIs there's the attention to padding and visual balance and basic color theory, which loonix severely lacks, as seen here

No because they aren't autistic and will just install a non-shit OS unlike the homosexuals here who are obsessed with avoiding systemd or trannies or whatever else

Mac OS is tied to hardware. If Apple were smart, they'd license Mac OS out to PCs and focus on iPhones and iPads sales. I'd pay $400usd to run Mac OS on my beefy PC. They just aren't that smart. Shit I would buy an iPhone on top of that if I could simply install Mac OS and have it just work.

So don't use default DEs. Normies are used to Windows because they've been Stockholm syndromed into accepting that they have no control over their lives.
The business model of Windows is to use their position of market dominance to push a standard so bad that it can't be copied or improved upon.

Manjaro is just less stable, "stable" Arch.

linux isn't popular because it doesn't come with the computer(like windows does).

normies(most people) have never installed an OS(including windows)

Even when Ubuntu came with netbooks no one liked it. Windows is successful because it's run by people who know how to enact a hostage crisis and that's all that normies are responsive to.

no, it is all because the command prompt, thats why normies dont even want to touch linux

It's more that games and apps all run on Windows and Linux is a giant pain in the ass. I know several people who have tried Linux only to go back to Windows just because of how bad Linux is to use. It's still rough in 2024. Constantly chasing issues. People want to turn on their computers, connect to whatever games or applications they need for work or play, have it just work, and shut down and get back to normal life. The don't want to troubleshoot constant issues. There isn't a single stable distribution that I can recommend to people and it's always been like this. Every time I try Linux, there's a huge showstopping issue just right the frick in my way. Enough that I bust out a Windows disk and simply reinstall Windows. Windows might spy on me but at least it functions.

I would get dizzy if i would use this on my mid-size 4k monitor.
I rather have a little dialog window pop-up. There is no reason for the file manager to be in full screen. And the commands don't have to be entered. If you do this regularly, i am sure you can bind this to a shortcut or button. Maybe even avoid having to open anything at all, because it would be trivial for a script to auto-detect in what folder to put it in based on title and folder names.

Reasons to use windows are dwindling so much that you'll find idiots try to use literal (windows) kernel-level rootkit anticheat programs for microtransaction-based battle royals (most of which also already work on ios/android/consoles) as reasons for why windows is better.
Adobe and office are quickly being supplemented by if not outright replaced so its like... What do you guys have left going for you? Outlook? Copilot? Nobody fricking likes those things and there isn't a single person on the planet who has gone "actually i like directx" fricking ever.
There is nothing left except rapidly dwindling handful of unsupported hyper-specific software that relies on windows api-specific nonsense that microsoft itself is discouraging the use of.
