      >16gb
Company special lol. Teams, chrome as the only available browser, and an entire suite of allen bradley software. The shitty little hp's they give us always feel like they're on fire.

I'd be satisfied if it didn't have some bug why my mic doesn't work on the app. Have to use the Web version all the time. I've seen a lot of other people post about same bug and of course morons haven't been able to fix anything for years.

Since they launched the new client not based on electron the app consume 50% less resources and its speed has doubled. The frick you're doing? I can run plenty of tabs, vms and teams no issues on 16gb ram

It got faster but also more unstable. The fricking piece of shit gets updated and restarted every day since we switched and we often have problems with users’ availability not being displayed correctly.

The new client is half-assed. Breaks constantly and missing basic features just joining an existing call.

No alternative. There is no other package with comparable set of functionality. Unfortunately. Although it is completely possible to implement an electron based application with gnu tools.

its fricking pathetic whats happening at all these faang companies. no wonder they are laying off thousands of people and you see no negative consequences. these braindead homosexuals are insanely overpaid. i remember when microsoft proudly bousted about their shitty app starting up in 9 FRICKING SECONDS instead of 22 like its some groundbreaking achievement

you don't seem to understand, most companies get BETTER when these people leave because they no longer interact within the company wasting other productive people's time..

It's funny because Microsoft is shilling its own garbage platforms like .NET and they know it's so bad they're not even writing their own applications in it KEK

I think when your selling point for a corporate product is
    >we've made it slightly faster & a little better than it's last shitty ver.
then it's probably time to look elsewhere.

    t. recently had an interview:
    >hr bint: "so&so can call you on Tue. We do have teams if you'd rather use that for the call?"
    >muh: "got teams on muh phone but it's a steaming pile of shit - a phone call will suffice."
    paraphrased.
    >hr bint: "inorite!"

someone should do a study in lost revenue for orgs using teams/outlook based literally on waiting times for the app to open and run and lag in meetings and calls.

It is by far the worst thing that I have had to manage.

The "new" teams that have rolled out doesn't fricking work with Outlook (neither 2019 nor the new Enshittification webmail ass version)

And I have had at last 20 calls about it in the last week.

There are 3 separate versions of the "apps" that do the exact same thing, Microsoft can't fricking launch a new version without having multiple release channels.

I am so frustrated by it.
