Add all the cool-sounding features you want. You're still just bringing life to the Borg.

Do we even know how our neurons will react to a piece of metal in our brain taking manual control of an otherwise automatic process? That process being Neurotransmission.

There are implants that some people get to treat Parkinson's. I saw a video about it over a decade ago, so the tech isn't THAT new.

Neuralink is made of stuff that body doesn't reject.

And if it does reject it, then Elon you shove it back into your skull with force.

Transhuman wannabes are like troons but with technology instead of gender dysphoria. I'll stay MOSH (Mostly Original Substrate Human).

I like to think of the cool possibilities, but I wouldn't get anything done. No deaging stuff or life extension things either. I'll just let them be trapped in this world forever and I'll live a normal life and die a normal death.

Would be funny if a side effect of deaging drugs was being unable to be in the sun, and a need for human blood. Rich people turning into vampires is an amusing propect.

Luddites simply just will never understand this but society has undesirables that will never be able to integrate fully into this society because they have been socially barred from even participating it. A solution is being presented and the top thing they always do is get pissed off that technology is actually giving a solution to a problem for many people that are just not as neurotically wired as they are.

This is why I don’t understand people who hate trans people. If the technology to turn a man into a full biological woman was possible then why aren’t we supporting technological progression for this to happen?

If you aren’t a Transhumanist you’re just a normie who doesn’t actually understand these things. You’ll soon lose everything, though, because there’s too much money into these things for it to be hindered by any Government.

neuralink is read only but if we do have read/write access then having select memory encryption would be hilariously useful.

Make using it for data collection, propaganda or advertising including with "consent" a capital offense. Inject ads into someone's brain = death penalty, no exceptions. Only then will I even bother thinking about it

      >inject ads into brain = death
      >”I didn’t stream the ads! Mark did, and Fred did!”
      >”No we didn’t!”
Good luck proving them otherwise. Even if it was illegal, people would just find loopholes, or use AI to do it.
