Just verify it like a normal person.

What do you have to hide? Are you a criminal? Are you doing anything potentially illegal with Discord services? If not, then this thread is pointless.

To stop spammers and potentially unwanted people/trolls. It's just a one time ordeal that I haven't touched since I set it up years ago, it doesn't affect my personal life in the slightless and I am a privacy conscious person.

How? Discord doesn't sell user data, let alone phone number info to third parties. You are not the epic 1337 razr hacker and privacy guru you think you are.

their TOS are explicitly vague about it for a good reason. but anyway, when it's not them, it's him => https://www.pcworld.com/article/2308047/scraper-spies-on-600-million-discord-users-and-sells-the-data.html

            >Discord doesn't sell user data
They literally do and they don't even make a secret out of it, go read the TOS it says what they "can" use your data for and since discord is being operated at a loss for years it's very likely that they either already sell your data or they gonna cash out big some day since they are literally sitting on billions worth of user data.

            >shit does not sell on the darkweb or anywhere else
It sells pretty well to a government or a trillion dollar company training their AI on it. Also doesn't mean they have to sell everything at once, a fricking advertisement company could just buy the email addresses or phone numbers of people interested in x for smaller price.

            Anonymous

They don't sell user data, it would give up their competitive advantage on the market. Discord is raising huge amounts of money from patient venture capitalists over and over again. All they have to do is make sure the platform keeps growing so that the next investor will value it at a higher price, paying off the previous investors. Rinse and repeat.

    hello saar
the first thing you're gonna do is not make an account on incognito mode or using a vpn
this way they will only ask for email verification
    then you verify email saar
then you do the needful and join their discord
then you search the question in the search bar

    hope this helps

discord is actually a very convenient way to talk to the devs. Whenever i had issue with my text editor they immediately responded and helped me fix it or diagnose bugs. If a server needs verification its probably run by soi trannies and should be avoided just like the software itself.

Because you're a codelet building projects 16 year olds can do. When you get to actually niche stuff you'll understand.

only if there is an example in documentation, never actually "reading code" though
By the way I meant that if you are reading other programs' source code your project is literally what the 16 year old would make

            Anonymous

Dumb Black person, I was talking about libraries. Sometimes niche stuff has bad documentation or none at all. There you need to read code to know what's doing what.
Proof you've never worked on esoteric stuff.
