>need to DM someone on xitter because there is no other way
>you must be verified™ to make DMs
>ok, guess I'll just pick the basic subscription for month
>I can't, because my account was inactive for month
>after few days I'm allowed through, but I have to verify my phone by me sending SMS to some britbong number
>I send SMS, verification failed, money stolen
Holy shit xitter is so bad after elonberg took over, I don't know why didn't everyone move to Mastodon or some other platform already.
Using xitter is one big humiliation ritual.

This right here. What an odd choice of words. OP clearly needs to sort his life out.

You might actually. For instance, LinkedIn can block your account and there's absolutely no support unless you're logged in so your only choice is through Twitter DMs with their help account.
Same thing for Xbox support IIRC.

Yes it did bootlicker. Other people complain about this shit as well, I guess elon ran out of money to even maintain an SMS gateway lmao. What a failure.

I do not have a phone number tied to my account, nor do I pay any sub fees and I DM'd somebody just yesterday.
Whether people DMing you need to be verified or not is a setting you choose.

Xitter really is shit though, it logged me out 8 fricking times yesterday and then complained about my repeated logins being suspicious.

    >why didn't everyone move to Mastodon or some other platform already.
As always, people only want to use what others are using and despite a huge portion of the userbase kicking and screaming when Elon took over, nobody actually moved to other platforms.
Not to mention how most of these platforms are simply a different flavor of shit.

      >Whether people DMing you need to be verified or not is a setting you choose
Reportedly this setting was automatically switched to verified users only for a lot of users without notice. Xitter must die.

Why did he buy this shit just to make it completely useless? Why didn't the previous owner find it necessary to ruin it like this?

He wants to turn it into american WeChat where you have all your money and conversations.
I don't understand why IQfy ever considered him "based" when basically all his projects push globohomosexual agenda.
      >Tesla - expensive cars just for elites and ICE engine ban
      >Neuralink - you won't get a job if you refuse to connect your brain to ze cloud
      >SpaceX - mars colonization for elites to move in

It just makes me sick, he charges $5000 a month for less than I would scrape in a single day. Dude is a huge homosexual even worse than the DNC puppets he fired.

You're right, Elon was always a somewhat progressive icon until the twitter buyout.

Funny how that changed when he just sperged out a little about free speech. Now he got a wall of neocon defenders without doing anything for them.

If mastadon was a drop in replacement for twitter it would be more popular, but it's not. You have to go out and find a server, and the only people who run mastadon servers are peeps and/or communists.

As much as I don't much like Musk I don't think he's a typical mastadon admin.
