goat simulator made a ton of money moron.. and they have a ton of game studios and games, so the risk is much lower, it's much safer than owning something like Take-two interactive

Nah they're in for a shitshow. Every time they've had a successful console, their next one sells like dogshit.

    >Super Nintendo (amazing sales)
    >Virtual Boy (total failure)
    >Nintendo 64 (amazing sales)
    >Gamecube (worst performing console of its generation)
    >Wii (amazing sales)
    >Wii U (ushered in a literal dark age for nintendo, probably the reason for Satoru Iwata's demise)
    >Switch (amazing sales)

    A catastrophe is looming...

they're keeping it simple. Switch 2 is a great name. problem is when they have moronic management making wrong choices(not including a DVD player in 2001, not just calling it wii 2 in 2012). switch 2 is a larger screen. its completely understood this is their next console. their hybrid console has sold well and will continue to do well.

i've been slowly buying since July of last year.

good on you both. i'm just a big nintendo fan and like the idea of supporting a company that doesn't hardcore pozz its audience. plus the divvys are a fun little bonus

Nintendo literally cannot stop trying to do the dumbest shit, so I doubt their full switch successor will be as simple as a bigger and more powerful switch.

    Bump
Thought about buying some shares as well.
Not only for possible profit, but because Nintendo is my childhood and there are still no other series like Zelda, Pokemon and Mario.
Its the only innovative Game/Consoledesinger left in the buisness. Sony and MS are literally bad PCs.
So i want to support Nintendo and hope to help them survive. So my possible kids can have a magical childhood as well.

    Stagnant moribund company.
I fricking loved TOTK but Nintendo is rapidly losing their magic. The joycon drift crap left me with a poor impression of how much they care about being great anymore.

No other company can give you something magical like TotK.
The build up to the stormwind ark, is fricking incredible, with a godtier atmosphere. 10/10

They opened up a themepark recently, plus super mario movie. Also announced the development of a Legend of Zelda film. They have a goldmine of ips.

It only depends on them and what their ventures may be.

I think at some point Microsoft wanted to make a take over. But they gave up I think. If that happened you would be right, the company would lose focus I believe. But being independent for now they r good, either way would probably win money with their stocks.
