How about just sticking a tube through your nose down your throat to create an airway that can't be blocked?

      Be a healthy weight.
      Don't smoke too much.
Sleep on your side or stomach.
      It's really that simple.

      Sleep on your side
      Lose weight
      Mew

      The end.

Okay I know I got trips but in all honesty while doing what I mentioned is worth a try, you have to consult a doctor as well to minimize the damages ASAP.
      Stay safe, OP.

          literal solutions were suggested

One last tip. If you're on the fence or waiting to get your surgery, to minimize further brain damage buy an oxygen concentrator if you have money. It improves O2 saturation and will prevent 80% of the damage being done. Apnea events will still occur but ensuring oxygen to your brain is all that matters.

          https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3578679/

          >Nobody has found a real solution for this so far, right?
There is a real solution. Tracheostomy. It has a 100% cure rate for sleep apnea.

          https://doctorstevenpark.com/tracheotomy

The end game in sleep apnea treatment, it actually works. All the crap that collapses in your throat when you lay down from your tongue, tonsils, to adenoids and all muscle and fat around them that presses down and cuts off your breathing is completely bypassesed by having another entry for air lower in your neck. At night, there is a port with a filter that attaches and you breathe soundly and deeply and never miss a breath. In the daytime, this is plugged with another piece and you breathe normally again. This is visible but can he hidden by wearing button ups and neck ties (you'll get used to suits) and nobody would ever know. Scarfs, cravats, and turtlenecks are good casual clothes.

Every other treatment is a half measure and a meme. Much less annoying than a CPAP machine which brings its own awakenings from the noise and pressure. Most on CPAP wind up on ambein because of the insomnia they cause in place of apnea which isn't even fully reduced and just brute forced with tremendous pressure. Other surgeries are much riskier, jaw surgery results in irreversible facial nerve damage and hyoid bone anchoring barbarism doesn't work. Some people even have their tongue reduced. All this for what? 20 or 30% cure rate. A trache is the simplest, most logical and results in 100% cure.

A trache isn't extreme. Sleep apnea is brain damage. You are suffering from hypoxia every night and losing brain cells, and probably will lose 10 IQ points per decade if you make it that long. Untreated sleep apnea precipitates a higher risk for premature death than smoking does, vastly higher risk of cardiovascular disease and sudden death.

Find a doctor. It is still performed and has been done for decades for apnea. Brain and lifespan are all that matters.

as for your two cents about obesity, no smoking and sleeping your side. shit tier advice you can get from the first hits of a google search. stuff npcs do.you're a glorified chatgpt (worthless).

I would have bought one of those whatchamacallits in a second if they didn't require a prescription. Unfortunately, I never booked an appointment with a sleep professional because of crippling reclusiveness. Probably just as well, I hear a sleep test costs even more than the prescribed machine!

Strong jawline, BMI in the green. I have every symptom on here except these:
        >eating disorders
        >obesity
        >diabetes
I use my machine religiously and it helps but not enough.

        >Strengthen your tongue.

Also, unironically, try stretching your abdomen to make room for your lungs. This doesn't change apnea, but it may change hypopnea (slow/reduced breathing). It's a game changer for me. I can stretch my diaphram so much that my gut will make noise on every inhale.

Only improvement you can have is adding a oxygen concentrator to your CPAP. Otherwise you're only option is a trache for full cure.

If you live in the US and are older than 23 you can sign up for Medicaid if you don't have a job. Literally a 5 minute application. Search your state + Medicaid and apply. They'll (the tax payers) will pay for everything. You can even get an at home sleep study covered now.

You can have sleep apnea with a BMI below 18.
Neck strength training (muscles) also causes sleep apnea.

Overextend your head to keep open your airways, don't use a thick pillow, keep your mouth fricking closed, your mouth is NOT for breathing
I can easily sleep on my back all night like that, it's actually also great when I have a runny nose because it makes the mucus flow backwards to the esophagus so it doesn't clog my nose and I can keep breathing from it
