you're buying it for the software

I'm not clinically moronic so I buy Android for the software. Not having Termux and F-Droid would be a giant step down. I don't need the toddler's first UI to be able to change some settings or navigate around the UI or whatever bullshit the Apple fanatics spew. Anyone who says that iPhones are easier to use always sound mentally challenged to me. They're both easy.

Also I wouldn't actually be the target demographic for this phone anyway since I like big phones. Wider keyboards while typing, can fit more stuff on the screen, physically bigger videos when watching something, more room for bigger batteries/better hardware. I understand if you only want to use it as a phone for calling and don't even really want to carry anything with you but that's not me.

I've always found flip phones to be the comfiest for calling. A small screen shows who's calling and opening the lid answers the call, closing the lid ends the call. Doesn't get any better than that.

not literally only as a phone you morons. but MORE like a phone and
less like a linux tinkertroon computer
i'm not a stranger to dumbphones kek

It has lightning port. It will be discontinued and replaced by its USB-C successor.

            Why? No need to wait
            >USB-C offers no benefits over Lightning
            >The successor will be based on iPhone 13 so it'll be too big, have a sovlless notch and be pricier than the current SE

      >costs more than 100 bucks
Just why? I doubt refurbished 12 costs more while being a vastly superior product.

That's actually based. The issue are the huge bezels. I'd fricking love if my mini had 720p screen.

The phone that made me switch to Apple for good. And it's still reasonably fast too.

I've been using these for three and a half year, they're fine if you can get them for cheap. I still only have the 2020 one with 4g, but it's more than good enough for my use.
They should still be good enough for a couple of years, and by then apple probably has a new budget phone out with usb c.

My iPhone 14 Pro is a buggy laggy piece of shit with awful cameras compared to the Galaxy S21 Ultra it replaced. I can only imagine how miserable the user experience with modern apps and websites on an SE must be.

All kinds of stuff. I'm not a heavy phone user and mostly just use it to look stuff up when I'm out and about so I end up on a lot of tech blogs etc. and the ones with a lot of ads are a nightmare, get halfway down the page and then it'll either freeze up or spontaneously refresh and send me back up to the top. That shit pretty much never happened to me on Android and I'm using Chrome as my browser on both.

Also weird inexplicable setting changes and stuff, like CarPlay suddenly not working and I finally figured out that it had been disabled in the menu for no reason.

Most likely Apple will discontinue them in September when iPhone 16 releases, get one if you like small'ish phones because there will be no more.

I hate myself... but not that much, so that's why I don't have one.

I'd rather use one of Samsung's budget ones full of bloat, it'll still run better.
