Out of work since June

>Be web dev for 2.5 years
>June, get fired
>Apply everywhere
>Nothing
>Get evicted
>Car gets totalled
>No vehicle or job in my field
>Forced to move from place to place, currently sleep at a church where I’m one step above homeless
>I just stopped applying and wait for recruiters to contact me through LinkedIn due to the hopelessness of 7 months of rejection
>My programming skill set which I have trained since 12 years old does me nothing
>Currently work as a plumber’s assistant

I want to die every single day.

Yeah, that's currently. Wtf were you doing between getting fired and eviction? Did you file for unemployment? Did you get a bartending job? Did you get on IQfy and whine about no one wanting a webdev monkey with no degree?
Just fix your resume and spam applications

Anon, this is the source of your problem.
This is why you gave up when it got tough.
This is why you want to give up.
        >$16/h is decent especially since you have no responsibilities, no car note, no home note, no insurance note, nothing, you are financially a teenager
        >keep looking for jobs, actively, take an entry level job and rise up if needed
        >look how to get past the HR moron, this is a skill on it's own and probably what you are failing at
        >offer freelance webdev services, oddjobs are better than nojobs
        >does nobody in your church own a business or has a managerial role? Did you talk to them?
        >create web shit for the church as a gift, idk revamp their website and set up streaming and online donations
        >look for council in church on how to deal with parent issues making you weak, there is a very good chance they can help you, not fix your problem but teach you how to manage it

Why is God so mad with me. Yeah I was sinful, but is my punishment not enough? I lost my means of living, I lost any respect I had, I am literally the reproach of my whole church. That’s the worst part, the shame. The shame of knowing that everyone thinks you’re some lazy good for nothing loser. I hate being alive. God please kill me

Men are only valued for what they produce. Imagine if you were a woman, the amount of sympathy you would get.

My suggestion, is keep working for the plumber until you can get back on your feet, while applying to developer and QA jobs.

Plumbing is a better career than code monkey. You will be among the last jobs automated. Think of this as a blessing. It's hard at first, but once you build some experience plumbing can pay well.

Sweat for your money you frick.

You thought everything would have been nice forever and was comfortable at your job and now you're homeless. If you're so great then you shouldn't have no problems getting a job. If I was an employer, why would I hire someone who has been coding since a kid only to show me some basic webdev site clone.

That's sadly the luck-based game of life and you're on a huge losing streak.

    >7 months of rejection
What if you're applying the wrong way? Not knowing what a company does or needs and not putting effort into making you stand out, is like gambling without knowing the chance to win and still going all-in.

    >LinkedIn
What's on that LinkedIn profile? Any hobby projects? Anything that makes you stand out enough for a company to say "That's a fun guy, we'll hire him!"? Is there at least one skill or language in your skillset that not many could have? How are you personality-wise?

Of course you don't have to answer all of these question in your profile, but the more, the better chances you have for getting an interview.

This whole applying shit is still a gamble, but the difference between gambling and applying is that you're losing nothing much anymore if you get rejected. Just keep trying until you make it, anon. Trying over and over again will eventually pay off.

Op, ask to see if you can help out in the office of your company. Chances are you could seriously improve or automate various processes there and prove your worth to get out of the field earning more dough.
