It's gonna sound weird but, look for the high limit slots sections with no one playing them, preferably very early in the morning. Max bet, hit the button a few times. If you don't get a decent payout, spin again, but hit the button to stop it while it's still spinning. (This "mixes it up" in my mind lol) Play a few more spins like normal. Once you hit and the pit boss comes over with paper and they get you a drink, hop to the next high limit machine if there are still no other players. Be aware you'll need $10-$20 spin at a minimum. I usually do this with about a $1k bankroll. I've hit for $2500 more than a dozen times and over $3k several more. $1k is the money shot though. There's usually another $3-$500 spin coming up after a $1k win on most of those machines and it doesn't require you wait for a pit boss.

Try it out if you have the balls and/or get drunk enough.

I should add, make sure you look for a machine that didn't just have a massive cash out lol. My absolute favorite are the "money" ones. They come in green and gold. It's 3 wheels with the 1,5, 10, 20,and 100 dollarbill symbols and diamonds. I've hit on those at different casinos more than other machine. I've also done well on the $5 wheel of fortune machines, but those are rarer and cost $50 a spin I think.

Based, I've traveled the world and Vegas is my favorite place unironically. Some day I'd like to retire like that slot machine lady from the louis theroux documentary.

Like anon above said slots are fun. I follow a few slots YT channels and they tend to prefer the classic machines like the Double Diamond. I have no clue if they're actually better but they seem less confusing than playing the insane modern screen ones.

The only low limit slots Ill play are old school 9 line quarter machines. Those tend to pay out better. My wife plays all the stupid pennies and her idea of a good time is "only being down $100, but played for hours" lol. I like chasing big jackpots then blowing them on the roulette table. I was at an off strip place last year and was up over $3k at one point. I only brought $1k with me.

Picrel are my favorite machines. This is the gold ones but the green are more common and look exactly the same. They used to put them by the bathrooms at ceasars properties but now ceasars seems to hide them with the other high limits like elsewhere.

It depends on what you're playing, when, and where. You're not going to find many sub $25 tables in the evening on a weekend on the strip, but you can find $10roulette and craps at any time on Freemont. I usually take $1k in cash with another $1k-$1500 in my checking account earmarked if I hit a downtown. I'm a low roller, don't go as often, but haven't paid for a room in years and get lots of other comps (free play, dining credits, spa credits etc...).

Where are you staying and what do you plan to play? That will dictate how much bankroll you need.

You'll likely want to gamble across the street at MGM or Mandalay. Luxor is kind of a dump. Just take whatever you're willing to lose, but $500 won't get you far on the strip, generally speaking. Id suggest at least $1k and if possible limit losses to a daily amount.

Also, carrot top (at the Luxor) is actually an enjoyable show. Check the activity/travel desk thing in the hotel for coupons for cheaper good seats.tge half price places just sell the shitty seats.

honest advice for frugalmaxxers: Fremont Street has $10 3:2 blackjack (6:5 blackjack has about 4x house edge of 3:2). My go-to place is the Golden Gate, which has scantily-clad qts dealing and dancing. If you're on the Strip and don't want to do Fremont for gambling, then cheapest place is Ellis Island, ten minute walk east of Caesar's Palace. It also is $10 3:2, maybe even $5 blackjack. Similarly for craps or roulette, these places are cheaper.
Don't worry about not knowing basic strategy. You can just ask the dealer what to do in your position - they know because part of their job is to look for advantage players.
Bring whatever budget works for you, but good rule of thumb is to disallow yourself from being able to hit up an ATM, e.g., have your cards in your room safe and only bring cash down to the casino floor.
Extra tip: alcohol is free ($1 to waitress for tip, but otherwise free). There is never an excuse to spend $15, $20, whatever they charge for drinks. If you're sitting at a full 3:2 $10 blackjack table playing basic strategy, you're losing about 40 hands/hour * 0.5%*$10/hand = $2/hr to the house in expected value. That's nothing compared to a single drink you pay for, plus you get to enjoy gambling in the meantime.

Damn I didn't even know they had a Vegas residency. Thats kind of sad in a way, but I'm gonna go catch them now. I saw method man once, but never seen rza/greater wu tang. Thanks for the heads up.

residencies aren't shameful and for washed-up artists anymore. They realized it's easier to stay in the same place rather than go on tour. Hell, Elvis and Sinatra basically invented the Vegas residency. Adele's doing one, as is U2.

To be fair, Elvis also gave the sad connotation to the Vegas residency lol. Wu is actually doing more of a mini Vegas tour with a few nights each at like 5 different places. It doesn't seem like they're getting prostituted out or anything when I looked it up. Also that frickin carrattop has some insane net worth from doing regular shows at Luxor for the past decade. I certainly understand the appeal if your a performer.

I played mini bac at golden gate once for hours. It was my best run at mini bac ever and it's always been boring to me after that. Myself and my wife were the only white people at the baccarat tables and the chinks thought we were their lucky charms lol. Little asians were running back to the table with stacks of hundreds to bet with us. I honestly was concerned they wouldn't let us leave. Shit was crazy.
Another cheap place (besides casino Royale and circus circus) is the Rio, or at least it used to be. The first couple times I went to Vegas I took the shuttle from Bally's to the Rio to buy a pocket knife from the gift shops upstairs because I'm a closet redneck and never checked luggage back then lol. It's not a very popular spot and always had dirt cheap tables. But, off strip places in general are always cheaper.

If you've never been there, you'll probably want to stay center strip. Rooms can be had pretty inexpensively at most of the ceasers properties in that area, especially if you book through a package deal. I was staying primarily at the linq when I stayed on the strip. Great location and it's smaller so you don't have to walk a quarter mile back to your room. There's also a gift shop/liquor store behind the Cromwell with "normal" prices on water, booze, and snacks. It's about a 5 min walk from the linq. Wheel your carry on there and load up your room fridge if you're on a budget.

Vegasgay here, dont listen to some of the people in here, slots are by far the worst route to go and thats why those reward systems give more points for slots. If you know what you're doing blackjack is the best odds especially if you go to a place like the el cortez that has 2 deck games. Most of the good gamblers find a place that has baccarat. Those two games are probably the best odds if you know what to do.

Nobody plays perfect strategy on BJ (that's why casinos are full of BJ tables) mini bac is boring AF, and the ElCo is only worth crossing the street into meth territory for the history and possible ghost sightings. If you're in downtown, binion burgers are amazingly good and still dirt cheap.

      >sports bets and roulette*
Sports bets are for morons or gamba addicts that love that rollercoaster sweatfest for 20+ mins

I wish I knew the way that guy figured out how to knock over baccarat.
Like how the frick do you get an edge in baccarat? It's just fancy coin flipping. You bet on your hand or the dealer's hand to win and you always choose dealer (with an advantage still for the house).

      >the way that guy figured out how to knock over baccarat
most baccy strategy is recognizing patterns on that lil blue/red game board and pattern strats are the most degenerate. There is a reason only asian quants are good at it, they study 100 trillion games.

Roulette. You bet on red or black, and make sure its not the Euro tables with 0 and 00.

Its not a double up strategy, its a modified double up where you use your feeling and accept or decline risk at certain areas. So it might look like this:

      10 red, loss
      20 red, loss
      40 red, win, profit 10 losses 30

      reset
      10 red win
      profit 20

      reset
      10 red loss
      20 red loss
      40 red loss
      40 red loss
      80 red win
      profit 10 losses 70

Then you might go 80 red again. What are the odds of it being black black black black red - then black again. Ignore muh gamblers fallacy, the odds of it happening in a row are the same. If you see 14 blacks in a row, THAT is when you start betting red in the first place. Its already statistically burned up an insane series of luck for black, the odds of that same set happening again are obviously very low. Is it possible yes obviously, so its 500 times black in a row but will it happen. Most definitely not.

The key is its not a set strategy, and you heavily rely on intuition. Sometimes you might go

      10 red loss
      20 red loss
      10 red loss
      10 red loss
      60 red loss
      120 red win

The key is to eat a lot of losses, then start ramping up.

They are better off doing that strat with 2 1/3 bets on roulette.Martingaling is the best strategy for gambling if you have an infinite deck, which is why ever other strategy mimics it and produces less results.

You don't have to bet every hand. Asians will fill out some little dragon card things and look for like, fib retracements or some shit, then bet super heavy. I've seen some doing pretty well with it.

Weird fact: the bank always has a minor edge over the player bet, even though mathematically it should be 50/50 (when you exclude ties). Because of that, casinos take a 5% commission on banker bet wins, otherwise it would technically be profitable to just bet on bank every hand.

And yea sometimes you just bed 80 red win, and bet 80 red and hope for a second win. If youve seen a lot of black in a row and just hit a red, Id intuit a higher chance of red than black even though mathematically and logically speaking its the same chance every time. It requires suspension of understanding of chance passed vs chance potential.

Also also, you want your big wins to actually be big and mitigate losses. When you win big, you cut off and restart. Sometimes you win big to break even, then let it ride and hope for the actual profits on a 2x red after like 10 blacks in a row or 8 blacks 1 red 5 blacks X Y

American roulette has double zeros. European roulette has 1 zero and an en jail rule that allows you to let a zero ride on the next spin.

I've never heard of or seen a euro roulette table in Vegas though they might exist in high limit rooms, along with single deck 2:1 BJ and other shit with way better odds lol.

Yea the double ones are gay and only designed to give the house an even better margin of victory to ensure youre fricked over with. It really hurts when you needed that red to show up near the end of a betting series and its a 0 or worse 00. Its like this round was specifically the house just taking your money with the option nobody ever chooses. Youre right its not easy to find single 0 tables in most actual cities made just for gambling.

    >Vegas winning strategies
I was homeless in one of the copies of Atlanta that they have built in Area 51. One evening, I went to the homeless services office, Gateway, to use their shower. There was some new security guard there: the only white one I saw in almost two years of using their shower. He would not let me in and he made up some bullshit about how I had been banned for something that never happened. I argued with him but he would not let me in to use the shower. When I eventually turned to walk away to go sleep unwashed in the alley behind the library, he called my attention and I turned back around. He pointed to the metal badge on his Raiders hat and sBlack personed maliciously as if to intimate to me that he was abusing his police powers to deny me access to the shower. A few minutes later, "Paddock" opened up on the crowd in Las Vegas where he killed a lot of the drone pilots that were piloting the clone slaves that populate Area 51 via Stargate-type mind control implants to enact constant torment and psychological torture operations, gangstalking, etc. It got memory-holed so quickly because so many of the people that got killed were involved in the ULTRA-CLASSIFIED clone slave drone program. They could not afford to have even the slightest scrutiny into whether the certain part of the crown might have been targeted for some reason, which they were. When the drone pilots continue to use the clone slaves around me to constantly torment and otherwise harass me, sometimes I like to remind them that the Las Vegas shooting proves they are not as anonymous as they think they are. My uncle David, who is Q, has the drone pilot logs in plain text. We know who all of them are even though many prefer to believe that their colleagues were massacred in LV as a matter of coincidence just minutes after the above MAJOR escalation in the bullshit I was dealing with as a homeless person in the downtown area of a copy of Atlanta that they have in Antarctica.

One thing to understand about roulette is the more you play the more you lose, generally. If youre winning, you wont be winning forever. If youre losing, the win is probably coming. You always end up being pushed into a long series of X when you want Y and so to mitigate losses on a double up strategy you simply dont double up. 10 20 40 60 80 80 then suddenly you feel a bit more lucky, 200, 500. If that loses yea youre up shit creek, if you win you reset with a decent gain margin to play through. The only time I did this I was up 2 grand and didnt know when to quit, thats why I ended up fricking myself. In comes a long series of all black when I wanted a red, and doubling up or cutting or whatever means frick all because its the death streak. Also I did it online with crypto, so it was probably rigged you never know. It was a winning strategy though at least for a while.
