>I began to have fantasies of becoming very powerful and stopping everyone from having sex. I
wanted to take their sex away from them, just like they took it away from me. I saw sex as an evil and
barbaric act, all because I was unable to have it. This was the major turning point. My anger made me
stronger inside. This was when I formed my ideas that sex should be outlawed. It is the only way to
make the world a fair and just place. If I can’t have it, I will destroy it. That’s the conclusion I came to,

I think the reason we disagree about the quality of his prose is because you implied that you see the substance as juvenile, where I don't. A warrior who has come this far, to this noble truth, needs better equipment.

Forget about the substance, we're talking about form

            >lacks imagery
            >wanted to go in-depth about how people have sex
            >''so here we have stacy and chad, they meet up somewhere in the city, they get drunk and have a good time, then afterwards, they go home then the guy inserts the penis inside of the vegana and it makes me really upset''
Was that what you wanted? Because that's what you got.

no I didn't want that - like I said he isn't going for imagery, but some people think imagery an integral component of 'good prose' - that if writing is dry and devoid of imagery and imaginative ways of expression (metaphor, simile etc) then it = bad prose.

OP asked how's his prose and from that little excerpt I can say the prose is clear + flows well, which is good

I've met some really good people through this site. Good people that were struggling with some part of their life, or just were so worn out from the inane problems outside their doors that they chose the online outlet for relief. I don't consider myself a despicable person. I have aspects of my life that I resent and am struggling with, but I don't truly believe myself to be evil. It's a mirror like everything else. You see in it what you see in yourself. The OP Rodger quote is the same thing. He saw in others this cruel, abusive refusal to share with him something he felt he deserved. But that same willingness to share, to give, to be open with and comfortable around others was something he could not do for others, himself. He saw his own cruel sense of dehumanizing, single-minded obsession in others and wasn't intelligent or thoughtful enough to reflect and understand that he was wrong.

I don't know if anyone ever commented on his personality or how stiff his speech is. Even with his personality he probably couldve got women if he had more confidence and less stiff speech. Women don't really have standards, they just care about the energy you give off.

Do his parents bear some responsibility? There could've been some form of helicopter parenting going on and Elliot was stressing out because of it. This picture for example; his father is literally standing behind him when he's taking a selfie to post on plenty of fish. Imagine your dad photo bombing your selfies.

He was 22, so blaming anything on his parents beyond 'man you guys should have sent him to a work camp instead of college' is a copout. His dad felt terrible about and for him and sponsored his lifestyle at UCSB to try and maintain a good relationship with him. His dad bought him the BMW, gave him nearly unlimited budget for tech junk and the money to buy his gun and knives and all the shit he used to kill people. His dad was responsible by prioritizing his career over beating the shit out of his kid more and sending him to camp. It's just goofy. Did you read his manifesto at all? It doesn't read like someone who's stressed out, it reads from the perspective of a brutally entitled and angry person who was handed everything he wanted and couldn't handle rejection when he wanted sex and wasn't given it.

people who obsess over incels are often the lowest of the low, in relationships out of circumstance, and feel a need to define their masculinity in opposition to the incel boogeyman
are "incels" in the classical sense even culturally relevant anymore? it's been 6 years since that one autist rammed people with a truck and made a fool of himself ranting about how elliot rodger is the "supreme gentleman"
maybe it's turned into a more IQfy or IQfy blackpill/hopeless-self-improvement species of incel, but there's nothing to suggest they're malignant
nobody makes fun of incels because of their quality of character. they hate incels because they're ugly, awkward, and don't get laid. "Virgin" has become replaced with "incel" in a way vindicating incels by proving that sex does matter on a societal level because it indicates social standing

      Anonymous

It only really does for two reasons 1) sex is the driver of most if not all relationships which is a relatively recent phenomenon and 2) traditionally women had zero choice in potential mates, usually that was up to their father (or closest senior male relative) to decide this.

These two things put together is why they/them cat ladies bully men who can’t engage in meaningful relationships. And why their dysgenic orbiters just add to the shit pile.

I think people miss how overtly evil he presents himself. He spends most of the book begging for the reader's sympathy before doing a 180 in the last ten pages when he suddenly turns into a comical movie villain. Everybody's the hero of their own story, and when they're not, there's something funky going on. To put my psychologist hat on I read it as an attempt to reject responsibility for the actions he was planning. It's like being a kid and feeling a little under the weather, so you complain until you get to stay home from school. Really you are sick, but you could go to school if you wanted. Obviously he was frustrated and angry and so on, but so are a lot of people, and they don't go shooting up the sorority. The exaggerated posturing he does towards the end of the book is an attempt to hide behind an ideological front/crazy persona so he won't be held accountable for his actions. I find you get this with a lot of young spree shooters. They don't really have an ideology, it's a psychological defense mechanism.

I used to think of Elliot Rodgers as dumb and juvenile (don't get me wrong, he still is) but in hindsight and comparison to modern incels he seems like a very respectable and reasonable genius.
    >I began to have fantasies
    >I wanted to
    >I saw
    >I was unable to
    >My anger
    >My ideas
    >That's the conclusion I came to
This is much more reasonable, objective and authentic than whatever incels today are doing. Incels today see one grossly overgeneralized "-pill" ideology meme and decide to make that their personality. Elliot is able to cite his real experiences of rejection and speak on them through his personal lens while incels today are too scared to get rejected and have no personal experiences and instead cite memes or the non-existent caricatures of 'stacies' and 'chads' in their heads as if it's at all representative of real life.

Rodger and race-motivated shooters are different sides of the same coin of ego and irresponsibility. It's always someone else's fault that they don't have the things they want. It's 'da jooz' fault that the grocery store twitch streaming moron decided shooting a bunch of completely innocent black people at some bumfrick store was an epic win against le ZOG. It's 'prostitute roasties' fault that Rodger couldn't get laid, not that he was incapable of resolving his insecurities by, I dunno, trying a little harder than the absolute bare minimum to make things work with people? I lived near Isla Vista for a while, and yeah - for the most part it was a complete pile of dogshit, socially. Really unpleasant party culture, not even good school spirit but pure 'must party must get fricked up must do party school stuff must get laid sex me now me no have friends just sex opportunities'. If he had gone to another school where socializing was more intentionally inclusive, where people weren't ALL frantically pursuing some silly idea of social success, maybe he wouldn't have turned out the way he did. But I don't believe that. I think he was ego-driven and self absorbed past the point of socializing. Look at how preened he tried to be. He was doing the looksmaxxing redpill dark tard-ad playbook and it couldn't affect anything but how irritating he was. You can't fix an butthole like that. But of course, it was every one else's fault he couldn't score with an IV 6. Not his own.
