Last year I would have said 10-15 years
This year I'd say 5-10 (20% chance at less)

Damn. That's wild. To think that before I reach 50, I'll be able to have a harem of beautiful, eternally young, subservient sex slaves who will pamper me.

If you want to be an "early adopter" it'll be insanely expensive and have a lot of kinks to work out. But it's probably worth it.

I'd honestly want it even only as a maid. Having someone around the house to clean and cook for you while you are out at work would be ideal and everyone knows how it is impossible to have that today

        >It's still way cheaper than marriage.
        >$100.000
        what the frick

        welcome to 2024, man

I mean. If she's modeled to be female, there's no way she won't come with an onahole.

But yeah, the big perks are housework, cooking, etc....

Just give her a nice personality, and I might even enjoy talking to her. Which give how "human" a lot of modern AI seems, in 10 years time, it may actually feel fully convincing.

I mean, early humanoid robots are being priced already, and they're fairly reasonable.

Even $100,000 is a reasonable price for an advanced robo-waifu. It's still way cheaper than marriage.

Have you never been in a relationship? Women are a money sink. Constant demands, constant plans, constant gifts. Then you get married. And you have kids. You now have to provide more. Buy things you wouldn't want normally, like larger cars, or a house. Plus, the cost of raising children.

And that's not even factoring in divorce which will guaranteed take at least half of your overall wealth. A robot Waifu could be priced in the millions, and it'd still be cheaper than marriage. Sure, the robot will only pretend to love you, but let's not fool ourselves into thinking the real woman is any different. At least the robot will maintain the charade forever.

Your personal failure at having an actual loving relationship isn't an accurate representation of the average love life.
But I'm guessing you're an angry incel that made all this shit up to justify being loveless.

          No.4 Saia
She's priced at ¥5m. So like, $35,000. And she's very lifelike for current tech. In 10-15 years, when robots reach mass production, you'll be able to get one for a few thousand dollars.

A couple CEOs have said they want a few billion autonomous robots on the world by 2035. To accomplish that, price has to be affordable for average consumers.

It's not that far away, but worthless NEETs will never be able to afford them.
You'll be expected to die ignominious deaths from gross flatulence, autism, or at the hands of a female you've offended by existing, just as you have for millennia - your desires matter that little in the real world.

AI waifus are going to be a huge deal within the next 10 years
theres already a huge population of men who are so desperate for female interaction that they develop parasocial bonds with streamers, vtubers, OF models, etc
neurosama (first AI vtuber) has been a huge success despite being a fairly rudimentary
Ive found neuro to be genuinely funny and clever and she kind of opened my eyes to the potential of AI entertainment
if you mean actual robots and not just voice only AI gfs, then that probably wont happen within the decade

You will not live long enough to witness something that even remotely feels like actual women. Leave your basement and find a gf in real life.

What makes you say that when everyone is hyping up AGI by the end of the decade, and these need to be at a fraction of the capacity of AGI.

Make it like ChatGPT that's slightly better, and can respond faster, and it's already convincingly human.

In practice, the only thing "wrong" with women is that we, as men, gave them any rights. We did it to ourselves, guize.

probably out of this foreseeable cohort -

you're likely going to deal with scripted AIs and nothing more ... you can at least listen to something similar to a true AI and try to think abstract.
