A slow digestive system could be to blame for the puffy midsection, which can be a result of bloat, rather than fat — especially in women over 40. If that’s the case, what you need is SASSY WATER!
Named after its creator, nutritionist Cynthia Sass, Sassy Water revitalizes and refreshes with barely any calories, while acting therapeutically on your body.
What inspired Cynthia to create this beverage was the fact that the human body needs approximately 8 glass of water in order to function properly. If you hydrate your body properly, then you will not face with problems such as turgidity and constipation. Therefore, it is recommended to drink the whole portion prescribed in the recipe below over four days.
But if you want to improve the odds of this regime being successful even further, eat more veggies and fruits that include more water. At the same time, avoid sweets, oily or caloric foods, and snacks.
Also try to be more active, do more body activities and eat smaller and healthy meals.
For Sassy Water preparation, you need:
- 1 cucumber (sliced)
- 1 lemon (sliced)
- 1 tsp. of crushed ginger root
- 12 leaves of fresh green peppermint
- 8 glass of water
Preparation:
Put all the ingredients together in a pitcher. The mixture should be kept in the fridge throughout the whole night. In the morning, strain it and then drink it throughout the day.
In the evening, make another one. Repeat the process for 4 days and you will start to feel the positive results shortly.
