    not Bulgaria
they were entirely justified in claiming the territory south of the Ohrid line after both countries mutually agreed that the Ohrid line would delimitate the new borders in March by treaty. They illegally squatted in the territory they signed away earlier in the year like rats.
But war's not about who was right, only who wins, and Bulgaria got fricked in the ass pushing that claim.

I'm just gonna answer this real quick and then never visit this thread because idiotic patriotic Balkanshits will ruin it with moronation.

    >Serbs dishonored their agreement with Bulgaria to give them the uncontested zone in Macedonia and wait for the arbitration for the contested zone because the Serbs were butthurt they wouldn't get Albania
    >Bulgaria dishonored their agreement to Romania to give them the town of Silistra claiming other issues need to be resolved first
    >the Bulgarian generals were hyped they could totally push the Serb and Greek armies (mind you at the time the Macedonian (Bulgarians from Macedonia) influence was very strong in the army and they wanted that worthless region)
    >so Romania decided to attack from the North while the Bulgarian army on the other fronts
    >Greece was allied with Serbia so they saw an opportunity to 2 vs 1 and get some territory from Bulgaria
    >the Turks were just happy to get some territory back from Bulgaria as well

So it was a total shitshow.

As opposed to the peaceful and harmonious history of what other European region?

I'd say the Swiss Alps, but I know some butthurt homosexual will either cite thousand year old conflicts or a dispute between 100 guys from a canton vs another from its neighbour, so eh

Still makes no sense. Claiming the Balkans are unusually violent is moronic, considering the whole of Europe (hurr durrr except Switzerland) has been consistently in wars.

Maybe their propensity for ethnic cleansing?
You can't claim that THAT was prevalent in post-Roman Europe

Yeah, bro, there was no ethnic cleansing anywhere, especially not in Germany, Poland and the whole of Eastern Europe.

ethnic cleansing in Central Europe was made by organized nation-states and came in short but violent outburts usually nationalities lived more or less peaceful

This. Balkan ethnic violence has been messier because of the tribal nature of the region.

            I said "post-Roman"
Remind me of the interval in history in which Rome ruled over Poland, Silesia and Pomerania again?
            >he doesn't know he also cited exclusively Slavic regions in his enumeration

Of course, the Slavic region of Germany.

the biggest and most numerous cases of pogroms and ethnic cleansing were indeed confined to the Slavic parts of Greater Germany, yes.

It's mostly that the Balkans started the war before the last one and the first war after the end of the fake one, although that was entirely because other people (and the Serbs) tried to force a specific vision for the region on it.

When did he ever say that doe? When did he specifically say that other parts of Europe had peaceful and harmonious histories by comparison? Do you choose to behave this way on purpose or are you just a low IQ wienersucker?

Bulgarians broke the treaty first, then cried when others did so also. They could have gotten Macedonia east of Vardar for themselves, but got greedy and wanted to be the dominant power of the Balkans

Looks like Bulgarians really overstretched their front lines which let the Greeks penetrate through Goatse Delchev.
