Do you like it? I was thinking either browns or whites.

Liked the browns but wanted to try out the reds to see if it would be more comfortable, it was.

The tenting angle that it comes with out of the box could be a bit higher, and it's very hard to get the connecting wire to look nice, but other than that I'm quite happy with it.

Oryx, their QMK configurator was straightforward to use and excellent for someone who wants their shit to just work without fussing around in a text editor.

Sometimes I wish there were more thumb buttons, but I make do with creative button bindings. If you don't like the idea of chords and lots of layers, you might feel a bit limited by the number of keys

how is that more convenient than a normal kb?

        Anonymous

        not the AMA guy but:
        1. you can place your arms further apart, in a more natural position. Your elbows aren't as clamped
        2. you can angle the keyboard inwards leading to a more natural position.

Try placing your hands on the table, as comfortably as you can and then imagine that you can place your keyboard exactly like this

voyager's editor is more convenient, takes ~30 seconds to change the layout

I cannot answer your question since I don't have a split keyboard myself

Ya, buy it. They're going to make more than they'll ever sell anyway. Might as well shove that e-waste in your closet instead of letting it sit in a warehouse for a few years before getting shoved into a Chinese landfill

    I have one.
Most people would probably either like more thumb keys or fewer columns, it's too almost-minimal.

Lack of extra thumb key is bad, don't really recommend.

Are you really so moronic that you can't pick out an open source keeb and get it fabbed, or alternatively just buy it from one of the many keeb stores online? What the frick is the point of paying four hundred fricking dollars when you could be done in 150 and get a MUCH better device?

Yes sadly. I have never soldered anything in my life and am therefore intimidated by it.

Not op but any recommendations for open source split keyboard?
I found many options and don't know which to pick. Want to make one with holy panda switches.

You only need to press the switches in, put the keycaps on and screw it all inside a case.

There's also a list of shops at the top.
        fricking newbies, I swear.

All keyboards have an idiot-proof layout thingy now.

Anything with similar features seems to be around the same price, so I don’t see the issue.
