Should midwits get into literature?

Took an IQ test and I’m only 110. I’m basically a midwit consoomer destined to never create art. Is there any point in continuing to delve into literature despite knowing most of it will go over my head or should I just quit reading entirely? Now I know why I struggled so much in college with my degree and have trouble concentrating and learning new tasks at work.
It sucks to be just smart enough to understand how dumb I am.

Average blue collar lad here. Yes, read. If only because it is a far better choice than every other mass media out there. I have bought several books that I thought I would enjoy and understand but upon beginning them I am unable to follow, Carlyle is a notable one, but I will put him back on the shelf and try again after reading more and broaden my ability.

If you enjoy it, do it. You may have a better chance of writing a successful cash cow than the average high IQ. You have the ability to write for the masses and engage with them in a way which permits their full involvement. Do what you enjoy.

Your IQ is lower than you think. Study linguagnomy. Serious. Then study visiognomy.

And then move on to sugmaonomy followed by ligmaonology.

Probably not. They would be better off reading course material in Law to gain better understanding of the kind of insight necessary to create and modify the rules that bind civilizations together. Not the laws themselves; those are sometimes still byzantine and unjust, but the process (when done properly) requires expert, almost poetic, levels of critical thinking. That's what you want to emulate.

You're on a board full of midwits, asking a bunch of midwits if midwits should get into literature. Any answer you get here (including mine) is meaningless.

What you just described is Reddit. IQfy is mostly occupied by the tail ends of the bell curve.

IQ is overrated. Most people here have high IQs and are abject losers.
Art has more to do with feeling. You have feelings dont you? Write them down. Read the work of othrr people who also had feelings.
    You're fine.

most people have a high IQ, then their IQ is not high but average. I agree with you though; a high IQ is somewhat intertwined with intelligence; however, having a high IQ doesn't really mean anything.

You should give up not because your moronic but just because your such a homosexual loser to let a number control your whole life, destroy your sense of self, and consider making you give up on reading completely. A very broad activity.

Higher than the average IQ of every country in the world. If you can't read literature, then who can?

Instead of worrying about IQ, think about your motive for reading honestly. If you're just doing it because that's what you think high IQ people do, then maybe it's not for you.

Stop acting like a pathetic dumbass. IQ isn't real, only morons who want to feel superior believe in it. Why do you think 99% of this thread is making fun of you and saying it's a big deal that'll forever make you a stupid loser, as they give you zero advice? They're either projecting some intelligence issue they have, they're ignorant to what IQ means , or (because you enabled them) getting enjoyment on your meaningless anxiety by acting superior.

When I was 14 my therapist made me take an IQ test, I'm guessing because of the bad grades and to make sure my anger issues weren't due to low IQ. All she told me is I scored above average intelligence. Didn't ask for the exact number and I don't care to find out.

As long as I'm not moronic, and I'm able to live a good life that I'm able to fully understand, why should I care?

Don't worry about your iq if you're over 18 because your brain is probably fricked by the covid 19 5g lifestyle. Try your hardest and stay true to yourself, as hard as it may be, and you'll create something that is at least interesting.

What? An IQ of 110 isn't any indication of this whatsoever.

110-130 is unironically the social sweet spot. It’s the bracket of kings, warlords, titans of industry, artists, and the successful or exceptional worldwide across history. You are probably just lacking in rhetorical skills. The gift of gab is what really makes intelligent people in general truly successful. Reading can help with that.
